I see the Past, Present and Future Do you?
The future progressed faster than imagined and with it, technology advanced rapidly to fix the worlds problems. Humans are no longer humans, but cybernetic machines that function a normal day. There is little need for jobs and there is a new government system, a mix of communism and capitalism. It works, meaning depending on the job status you got after attending school determines your pay.
Chemicals and cybernetic waxworms eat through the plastic islands that were in the ocean; a sky vulcan laser and on land tokamak utilize enough solar energy for a billion years. Some call it a boring utopia, but many more difficulty have come around. Old cultures have dissipated completely.
Along it, magic. Anyone who practices magic is persecuted, they are deemed sub-human. There is only one school where those who can do magic may go; Skylar Academy. A large technological city, where every moment is tracked on school badges. Some cyborgs attend here too.
This is a war; Past vs Future.
Let it is peace.
Those competing don't know what's at stake, or their opponents, only they are not walking lone in the streets.The Hunter's Guild is led by the Heir of Luxuriough, the new country that took power after WW3. It owns most of central Europe and most of America apart from Canada. The French Isles has seen the combination of France and Britain, while Japan has taken over some of it's past Asian territories and becoming the most prospering economy. Ex-Soviet Union states have been slowly eating away at Russia, so now the territory is shared into lots of little states, and Africa has found unity within it's four new parts.
The Magic stowaways hide out around the world, in a major group called the Sorcerer's Republic or SR.
This is the Present, the Past is fighting back, and the Future is unstable.

Rules
1) If picking Technology on form answer: Accompanying Tech Animal; Technological Magic. Not every tech person will have a tech magic, nor an accompanying animal
2) If picking Magic on form answer: Magic Shapeshift animal; Magic Ability
3) Try to balance out males+females and tech+magic. Unlimited characters
4) Don't be OP... and be active please
5) You're either from a rich family or in debt to a rich family if a technology person
6) Magics will win in the end, but not all techs have to die for this
7) PG-13
8) Be literate please
9) Usual rules tbh

He stretched and quickly got dressed before heading downstairs and grabbing a cup of coffee and breakfast. He always woke up at 5am before the rest of his family so he could leave for work before any of them woke up. the less interaction the better he thought.

She happily slept in, she didn't have anything to do today and so was taking advantage of that fact. She had sometime during the night shifted into her animal form and was sleeping like that.

They had found an oasis to settle down at and where currently moving about refilling water and looking for any food.

Meliodas propped himself upright on his hospital bed, one leg dangling in the air from a cast. He'd been here for 6 months, 6 days, he was counting. Lillia always laughed at him and told him patience every time, but at least she kept him company. He was starting to get the feeling she could relate to him in some obscure way.. or just enjoyed playing in solitude. No one came near him nowadays. He only needed time and patience to heal, everything else was useless. He put his arm outright to the side, facing the window as he heard the familar footsteps come around the bottom of the bed through the door.
"So you heard me"
He smiled warmly, "How could I not? I'm always so happy for your visits, Ms Aoinghoua."
She chuckled, "Please, no need for formalities. We're team mates, you're a useful member"
Useful. That made his heart bubble with pride. He'd always try to be.
Lillia pulled a chessboard out of her bag, looking on at the bandages boy on the hospital bed. He was tall, perhaps 6"1, when standing, but now looked like a shriveled crying child. He was brave to push through with such a painful smile. She touched his bandaged hand to greet him in a comforting way. Yes, more team members with his resolve and skill where needed. She sat down on her usual leather seat and pulled out a chess board, "I have no need to repeat the rules" she put it on his stomach and guided his hand to the edges, "you will be playing white, and me black." she barely needed to state the terms and let go of his hand when he started touching the boards nooks, it was specially designed for him to play without sight. He then started placing his pieces on the board, starting to think, knowing each square. He was strategic, knowing what she would do to match his and say where all her movements were, visualizing it. That was why he was useful. His tactic and cunning.
Lillia had barely put her pieces at the door when Meliodas asked, "Why is Ms Tokomari joining us?"
My smile turned into a stern expression, "Are you sure your ears do not deceive you?"
"No. That is her. I recognize the two click clacks of her metal braids on her boots. She never comes here. She hates the smell."
Lillia stood up as Mia came in, "Am I disturbing something?" her sly purr rang out.
Lillia decided to shake her head, "No. What is your business here? I have not summoned you"
"You're playing sweet with a boy. How cute. No.. I was just here to say Edward and Kiku have returned from the mission and are requesting your presence," she paused dramatically, "Now?"
Lillia hated being pushed around and had a half mind to say no, but knew it was important, "Very well, but assemble all of the higher ranks."
Meliodas looked up expectantly and Lillia snatched away Mias pipe before she could take a puff, "Magic or not, this is a hospital. You will obey it and my rules"
"Yes ma'am"
She got up and left, signally for Mia to follow. Meliodas was left alone again, with his chessboard. He let out a sigh. He was, technically, a high rank, or.. used to be. He was stuck here now. Perhaps she would send someone to get him.
Lillia walked quickly down the hallways of the hospital, not saying a word, while Mia walked behind her, taking a puff of her pipe and blowing a smoke circle as soon as they had reached the roof into fresh air. Lillia stared hard at the helicopter, "He can fit in here. Send for him."
The journey was half an hour stretching it, and the five of them sat around a meeting table. Mia had insisted on staying for some odd reason that Lillia hated: she was getting too bold in her actions.
"So.. we disposed of only half of the threat"
Edward finished, standing up and bowing his head as a show of respect
"They didn't have any candy" Kiki murmured unhappily.
Lillia stood up, "Dismissed. We will send a squadron that was to find any remaining Mages. For now, return to normal work stations. And, Edward, get your brother in order before he's killed"
Edward gave a nod, stepping into the corridor and walking down it to Envious work room, knocking on the door before entering. Why his brother used the name Envious he could never quite grasp, he looked around at the state of the room as he opened the room, expecting it to be a pig sty.

Kaea got out of bed and quickly dressed. She got her pack of provisions and her bow and arrow. Looking around to make sure her family wasn't there, she slipped outside to the forest surround the house.

Envy looked up from his table, the room was impeccably clean, he hated a mess and needed the space to think, besides he didn't own much for himself "Yes?" he asked with a smile, he did love his younger brother, even if the sentiment was not returned.

Edward didn't smile and simply pushed his glasses further up his nose, "I've been told to make sure you keep out of trouble encase you become a house pet. You'll be working team missions and being rejected by some secondary school girlfriend isn't going to change that. That is all. Keep doing whatever you do." he turned around and strode out, wanting a nice, warm, relaxing spa bath that was in the private area of the building. He had just come back from fighting mages after all, although it was suppose to be an information gathering and map planning trip, but three mage shad appeared. He wasn't a fan of, nor adept to fighting, but Kiki found it fun, so she dealt with it.

He sniffed disdainfully and hated the blush that crept up his cheeks he shouldn't have expected his brother to know that he was gay and it was more of an off-handed jab then anything true but it still bothered him greatly. He finished up his report and went to find Lillia, for questions about the mission

Libidine was pacing around the cave aimlessly, bored since he had woken up an hour ago. Velos was silently watching him, sat on a rock nearby, bow in hands with a damp cloth, slowly but surely cleaning it so it would shine impeccably. This place was a safehouse, known by many mages to be a safe place to hide out, as apparently Hunter's couldn't come in. It was large for a cave as well. He could sense a strong enchantment around it. Many had made their homes in it. He was considering travelling out again soon, trying his luck in another part of the world.
Libidine flopped down on the ground and started doing one handed pushups, "Ugh! Standing around here doing nothing is so boring"
"Too bad" Velos replied in a low voice
"Hey! That's one of the few times you've actually spoken! Cool! So you think these muscles look good on me?" he stood up and flexed, getting no response but a long, hard stare before Velos went back to working on his bow, "Oh come on man! You don't have to be so mean"
Mercia walked into the entrance cave where the two were bickering, putting her fingers around Libidines face and stroking his cheek, "They're adorable.. just like you.." se whispered quietly in his ear as she moved to the other wise, "I could just eat you up"
"See! The ladies like me"
She chuckled in a cruel manor, before turning around and leaving.
Velos commented quietly, "That was Anubis De Coup Laville. It means nothing."
"Don't be such a stone blocker"

Leto was sat in the cold, curled up in the snow, crying with her head tucked into her knees. She was alone and very afraid. Although snow fell around her, she barely felt cold. She wanted her herd, to go home, but it seemed impossible, from the loud witch-hunting noises that had occurred.. the fires.. the screams. It was all so scary. But, that wasn't home. It was a village they were passing through, her herd was okay, she had been the only one there; a messenger. But, if she did find them, with these Hunters tracking her.. she felt trapped, a lynx in a snowstorm, but the snow was her friend.
She was too scared to move, yet. Just wait it out, suffer some more.

Kiki was standing outside the door to Lillia's office, sucking lollipop and humming absentmindedly, when she saw Envious approach she bounced up to him,
"Hey! Madame Princess is busy, so I can't let you through. We can play a game though! Aren't you Edwards brother? Oo, this is going to be fun, fun fun! Why do you want an audience with Missy anyway? You'r too low to play with her~ I can take up your offer though"

His eyes narrowed dangerously at being called low but he knew that the girl wasn't exactly right in the head so he bit back a sharp reply and instead said "What game didja have in mind? and when will she be available?"

She yawned and stretched, she looked around and blnked the sleep from her eyes. She checked her food stores and frowned when she found them low. She'd need more food. So she hurried out, there seemed to be a light snow storm but she didn't pay it any mind. Instead heading out and looking for any tracks.

Kiki grinned, "What about... rat a tat cat? If you win, I'll recommend your promotion, if I win.. you have to buy me all the cake I want, Okay! And my master is very busy.. she can't speak to the likes of you without a good reason. Why don't you go to your floor master? What's so essential?" she smirked, "Oo, is it dirty on Eddy?"
