I caught a bulbori with 4 carried traits. Will the trait disruptor have a chance to give it at least one visible trait or will it just only give it 4 carried traits? Considering that it has a total of 4 genetic points and visible is equal to 2 genetic points, a visible trait is what I'm hoping will come out of it.

I want to check how strictly the breeding system keeps to the Mendelian genetics and if I understand it right.

Tanuki 1

Gene 2: NH

Tanuki 2

Gene 2: ND

Genetic results

NN, ND, HN, HD, NN, NH, DN, DH

25% chance of no traits at all, not even carried
50% chance of a carried trait (1/2 chance for one trait, 1/2 chance for other trait)
25% chance of visible Long Fade
0% chance of visible Short Fade (since the one with the lower letter always shows up before the higher letter in the alphabet)

So even though both Tanukis have no visible traits at all, there is still a chance that a Tanuki with a visible trait will come out of breeding the two together? And it will always be Long Fade that is visible if a visible trait does show up?

"N" stands for "nothing", and only appears in pets who have no traits (NN) or a carry (example, NB).

Also, closer to A is dominant and closer to Z is recessive. A more recessive trait will never show up over a more dominant trait. The one exception: N is dominant to everything, no matter the slot or species.

Thus, combinations such as "HN" and "HD" are impossible.

With parents NH and ND, what you're left with is this:

NN
NH
ND
DH

So, 25% of nothing, 50% of either trait being carried, and 25% of visible Long Fade with hidden Short Fade.

Yes, there is a chance of getting a vis, and yes, it will always be Long Fade.

Som answered your question about your luporas beautifully, but I noticed your question about trait disruptors got overlooked. Trait disruptors only move traits around, they do not change the makeup of the traits. Therefore, a 4 carry will always be a 4 carry, the disruptor will just change which carries they are. The only exception to this is visibles with hiddens. A disruptor can change a straight visible into a visible with a hidden trait, or change a visible with a hidden trait into a straight visible.
