I tried to use the philter of themed trait disruption on this mother of pearl sylvorpa, with no offspring, but it gave me an error saying that it is not a themed pet. Did I make a mistake?

I don't use disruptors very often, so I'm not 100% sure on this, but my best guess would be... maybe disruptors can only be used on proper themeds, and not PBs...?
PB tags didn't exist until recently; disruptors have been around for a while. So I think it's very possible that Krin never went back and added PBs to the list of disruptable pets.

As Som said, Philter of trait disruption (themed) only work on tagged (themed name in purple) pets. They do not work on pure bred pets. The pet you posted above is a pb pet.
I expect that this is done on purpose and wont be changing even though pb now are marked. I think it would make the philter a bit overpowered if it could be used on pb. Now that pb are marked though, the philter really should have its description updated to reduce confusion.
