Hello and welcome to the first round of the Creative Celebration Writing Contest! Our current participants are:

We are starting with 25 contestants. Round One will have the biggest elimination, and we will only have 15 participants for Round Two.
~[]~Rules~[]~
1. You must oblige by the Terms and Service of Sylestia - this includes roleplay/writing rules!
2. You may not reveal to anyone what your code name is. This contest is 100% anonymous.
3. Your entry must follow the guidelines of the round or you will be informed and that entry will not be counted. However, a revised version, if submitted by the deadline for the round, that meets the guidelines, will be counted.
4. I am not going to participate any way within the contest - that includes voting.
5. Do not bribe people to vote for a certain entry. If I find out about this, you will be disqualified.
6. Do not post on this thread! If we want this contest to be 100% anonymous, make sure any communication you have about the contest will be with me, privately, through our private messaging system here on Sylestia.
7. If you miss the deadline, your entry will NOT be accepted late UNLESS you have spoken with me about it before. For example, if you're on vacation and are unable to get it done, then tell me beforehand, and all will be well.
8. No rudeness regarding this contest. I will not tolerate bullying of any kind.
9. All entries MUST be PM'd to me, or they will be disregarded. Again, do not post here unless you are not participating!
10. If you don't make it to the next round, then don't throw a fit about it. We're here to have fun!

~[]~Round One Prompt and Guidelines~[]~
Write a story, poem, or any form of literature (you have freedom here) about a moment of self-realization. This can be regarding anything at all.
The entry must be 300 words or less.
Deadline: Your work must be submitted to me through PM (you can send me a Google Docs if you want) by 11:59 PM on Saturday, September 29th.

Hey everyone! So, there's been a few of you PM'ing me with a bit of confusion about the prompt, and I just wanted to clear something up for you:
The story/poem/etc. does not have to be personal/about you.
I think some of you were a bit worried about that, but the beauty of characters is it doesn't have to be you~. It just has to be the main character that has the moment of self-realization :). Hope that makes sense to everyone!
Also, one person had a suggestion that I wanted to get feedback about doing before submitting to anything.
Would you guys be interested in me offering limited feedback, and then giving you one revision chance if submitted before the deadline?
Meaning: You submit an entry before deadline, and if you want, I will give you minimal feedback, and then you can submit a revision by the same deadline.
PM me with whether you think it's a good idea or not; this courtesy would most certainly be extended to everyone in the contest. This mini-poll will end Wednesday at 9:00 server time so get your opinions on it into me by then :).
