I absolutely hate it when players get a few or alot of pets then leaves forever. So I cam up with this idea:
When the last online part on a player profile gets, like, over an year, their pets should be automatically on sale for those who want to take care of them. It's not fair that they're starving with no owner.

I have to disagree. There can be several reasons as for why a person does this. The person can be in a coma, on rehab, getting medical treatment, school or whatever. Pluss lets say a person dies, the family may want the page untouched. Or you just dont feel like plating, but after a few years you want to start again but all your pets are forcably gone. Honestly the only people I can see liking those ideas is those who want easy pets! No suport at all from me.

150,000% do not support this idea. I know I have disappeared from accounts for a year or more, for one reason or another, then returned to play again. I have seen people playing on *this* game leave for 2+ years and return. If I came back to find all my beloved pets gone because I took a hiatus, no matter the reason, I would be beyond upset. And to find my pets had been sold without my permission? I would be hopping right onto my messages and contacting the admin to report someone hacking my account in my absence. The pets are not hurt by not being fed. They don't die, there is no lasting harm. When, and if, the owner returns they can feed their pets and there will be no harm done at all. So yeah, I can see no good reason for this to be done, and only anger and upset happening if it were.

I felt the same way when I first started, but NOW as a more experienced player I cannot give this any support. Though it would be nice on our end to get that 6 VI's Nixi with steampunk in my case, It wouldn't really be optimal for the players who are gitting"wiped". besideds the site is getting an overhaul so who knows what incentive Admin has in store. I feel like the better decision would be after like Two to three years all you pets run off but your loyal starter, but even that is a bit on the hard side. It's almost like another unnecessary code, so I can't give any support for this.

No support.

Being a player that invests tons of irl money into my account, if I were to have to leave for any reason I want to be able to come back and find my pets still there. I especially would not want to come back and find out all my pets had been SOLD against my will. I have way too much time and money invested into them, and some have a very special place in my heart.

Honestly, they are just pixels on a screen. They don't have feelings, so its not like they actually get sad or anything if they aren't fed. The real people who own them though, they DO have feelings, and many would not be happy to come back after a long hiatus and have to start over on their collections. That's how you lose players. You want people who leave to want to come back, not want to hate you.

This idea would destroy the game if it were ever added. Although that is the case, I understand your reasoning behind suggesting this. I have noticed that there are a portion of players who do view these pixels as living creatures or whatnot.

As such, maybe there can be an option to hide pets and stables of players who are inactive so they don't have to see the "dying" pets, if it is anxiety inducing? Either that or change the perception of what happens when a pet is released and not fed. As I remember during releasing contests similar issues arose.

No support. I remember someone suggesting something similar to this and I would hate to see all of my pets gone when I come back. Shenzi, Banzai, Edward and the rest of my pets and stables mean so much to me and the progress that I worked through to get all of them.

Sorry, I'm not upset at this suggestion but it's something that shouldn't be added to the game.
