So It is a bit of a task to go through and select each pet to release. So i was thinking, maybe with like the mass move icon there can be a mass release button. Though I would still like to have the release confirmation, just without typing in each name or having to do it via each individual profile.
So like with the mass move you select which pets you want to release and when you done hit like a continue to release button, and that can open up a box kind of like hatching egglings, and you can hit either confirm or cancel for each pet, and have it show a small picture.
Like this, and after a decision is made the next pet will appear

It does make sense when you put that way. Having to type the names does seem to take time when you wanna release a mass amount of pets that no one will buy or take in. So I do support it in a way.
The negative side of this would be accidentally releasing a pet that you wanted to still keep as some people tend to click very fast and not carefully read sometimes. So though it would be a great idea, I think typing in the name has a reason and that it is to prevent that mistake from happening.

I did think about that, but I think that would be more of a take your time and pay attention kind of thing. It's more for convenience of releasing manny without having to go through each profile. Pulse with the diamond rescue thing in place now its not as bad. And there could always be a enter name thing on the pop up box as well if that's still a wanted addition. The idea is more forreleassing pets without having to go to each individual profile. This was really helpful input thank you ^-^ I will add another image with the name box a bit latter tonight. I have exams tomorrow so I will have to study tonight.

I suggested this the other day in chat...I would absolutely love to have this in game...for someone that has 20+ pages of pets in hatchery that I wont use, people wont buy, mass release I would really like to use. Individually releasing, is time consuming...lol
As far as suggestions..why not have a check box on a corner of a pet in the hatchery, then a check all button somewhere, then a mass release button of course....a confirmation window to show all pets, and to confirm release.

A mass-releasing feature is on my top most wanted list of features. xD
How I would personally do it, is have the release go like mass-move does i.e. quick and easy. But then have a clause that gives one 24-72 (just some timeframe) hours to "un-release" the pet. Kind of like the pets that you select are set to release in x amount of hours. And in that time you can see if you made a mistake and click to set to not releasing (in the same way -- like mass move).

This would be nice. I would take bits from what everyone said. Much like Mass Move, have a Mass Release. I would want a list of the pets I had selected on the popup that says "Are you sure you want to release these 21 pets?"
And then, I would want a second pop up saying "Are you really sure?" Because I have been on automatic pilot before and a 1 click button is an easy booboo.
Then, the idea of a time period of free reclaiming or... The "These pets are set to release in a 24 hours" thing sound pretty good. At lot of games have some sort of free buyback option. *thumbs up*
