well, I'm not that kind of person who you'd expect to ask for moral support, but this time is different.

I've been here for a while, and even though I didn't make any close friends, I've met a lot of nice and understanding people on this site. the community here is really helpful and supportive. it's inspiring to see people doing good things for free, just because they're...generous and altruistic, I'd say. reading all those nicely written posts on forum always makes me feel better - I'm sure it even had a good influence on my depressive state (which I'm dealing with at the moment).

anyway, now it's my turn to ask for some help from you. long story short, I've been on a diet (lots of different diets actually) from the beginning of this year, I've lost about 15 kilo and it was going pretty good until... um... you know, love always comes when it's least expected. ^^; not saying anything bad about the person I fell in love with, but it all didn't go so well and I gained almost all the weight back. ten months of working on my body just went down the drain. and I'm not actually sad or angry, I just want to know that someone, somewhere, would believe that I can return into a good shape once again.

so that's it. maybe it sounds weird (for me it sure does), but I need to hear something like "you can do this" specifically from you guys... not asking for advice, just, um, say that you believe in me? ^^;

oh my... that was kinda hard to type. thanks for reading all that, I love you. :D

You can do anything. I believe that 100%. There is absolutely nothing you cannot do. I am as stubborn as they come, so nothing can convince me that you can't do it. Go, beat the weight!

You can definitely succeed! You were strong enough to succeed once you can do it again and hopefully feel better than ever.

Good luck, and I know you can do it! It may be tough, but if you did it once, you can do it again! Just work hard and believe in yourself! :3

Life does rather like to throw curve balls doesn't it? The important thing to remember is that you managed to figure out a way that worked for you to lose the weight in the first place. That's a big accomplishment. You can absolutely do it again!

Now to take my own advice and get back on track myself. :-P

Never, ever, ever give up. No matter where you live, who you are or whatever the condition, giving up won't get you anywhere. I believe that anyone can be who they want if they just tried.You are more than capable. There will ALWAYS be dead ends, bumps and obstacles. You don't move on, you carry your mistakes with you and learn from them. Moving on is leaving them behind, which leads to many more mistakes. You also find it's quite hard to move on because memories stick with you everywhere. Don't say you can't do it and don't say that 10 months are down the drain- they're not. Y'know why? It proves that you can do it. Depression is very very hard but if it becomes serious I reccomend going to a therapist or psychiatrist to help get through it. I give you nothing but love and support :)

I know you can do it, Loki! You did it once, you'll do it again! :)

That's what's great about being human (or whatever you classify yourself as), we're not the toughest creatures in the pond, but we're damn resilient. Hurricane comes and destroys everything? We stand back up and rebuild. Volcano incinerates everything? We still come back and live there when it's all good again. Same with health-y-things: We work on something, then we fall out of shape. It happens. We get up and try again, and we don't give up!

I stopped lifting those dumbbells, but I need to do it again for moar muscle powers... I feel motivated!
