What part are you confused by? The genetics here are pretty simple and strait forward.

I'm assuming what's confusing you is the fact that the baby hasn't been tested. All visible traits will show as homozygous on untested pets (AA, BB, etc). Such as with gene 3, advanced runes. They can't actually have AA since their mom was AB and dad BC for this trait. In actuality they must be either AB or AC (A from mom and either B or C from dad) but the hidden trait won't show until the baby is tested.
If that's not the issue, please clarify. :-)
