I am sure this has been brought up many times, but, purebred tags! Think of all your wheel offspring, exclusive offspring, and themed offspring that get rated down because they are not tagged. Its just a few words, right? The offspring have more traits, they are the same theme.
Also, if the breeder has been at it for a long time, it can take forever to check the lineage. A simple thing like "Purebred" written on the pet profile would be very helpful. Also, it would give those purebred babies some more spotlight.
Another plus would be filtering them out on the advanced search. I really wish I could find tagged offspring with a filter, this might allow that. Any additional suggestions to this idea?

I think this would be particularly hard to code in :/
But I like the idea in general! It would be nice to maybe see a little something to shows no other blood was added into the bloodline. Maybe just as an extra thing to show, you pet is too legit, and too legit to quit. The little marker would be especially useful for how many "purebred" pets that turn out not to be pures.
The only reason I would say this would be hard to code is that when the two themed pets breed, it will produce that tag. But what if you mixed a reindeer griffi, and a charming chocolate. The system might read the pets as themed, and stamp the baby as a purebred. I'm sure there would be away to get around that, but still. I can just see someone trying to use that to their advantage.
Like if someone wanted a 6vis Cherry cheesecake faelora project. They could do a Orchad vis x Orchad vis, and each of those pets id a CC fae and a poinsettia fae. Then they would have more of that gene in the blood, and have that purebred stamp still, and most people wouldn't notice because of the similar colors that would probably blend really well with generations of breeding.

This has indeed been brought up plenty of times, and Krin has said it's too much work - understandably so. He was good enough to implement lineages so we can check a purebred really is purebred much more easily. I do think that if this was something he planned to do or felt he could do he would have responded and agreed to one of the numerous suggestions.
This is not to say it wouldn't be a fab feature, but it's something I can't see Krin changing his mind on until the site is out of beta.
Extra reading of the same suggestion if you're curious, didn't go back too far for these:

There's also the issue of the pre-tagged themed pets. If you bred a 2012 reindeer qitari or valentine bulbori with releases from later years then they won't show up as purebred even if this was done. I'd still like to see it though.

I've asked for this a time or two myself... and honestly I don't see why it is such a big deal to code. Ok, retroactive coding? Yes that would be difficult and more importantly time consuming... but a simple code to check for matching tags when bred, and adding a "purebred" tag to it is not that difficult. Or at least, it shouldn't be.
With all due respect to Krin, the Lineage while nice, is only practical if you can see all the parents in one or two screens. After flipping through half a dozen, it's all too easy to miss one. I've done that on my own projects once or twice, let alone checking the lineages of others. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad we can check the lineages, but it's not a very practical way to check if a pet is purebred or not, especially if you are looking at a four or higher viz pet with three or four layers of "lineage". You can easily spend a couple of hours flipping through all the screens to check on one pet.
Considering all the plusses of having this tag? I really wish it was doable. Purebreds would be much easier to create, sell and make projects of. If I could, I'd offer to do it for him... unfortunately I don't know how to code well enough, even if Krin was willing to let me poke around in his data bases to do the job, lol.

Okay, for starters... This idea is a brilliant idea, it'd be a dream come true. It really would. It would make breeding and marketing so much easier, and it also would make it a lot easier to find the fakers and the mixed-breeds. However, I'm sorry, but I have to shatter this fantasy. As there appears to be some confusion on what it would be like to code something like this, and with the MegaZone being worked on, Krinadon may be too busy to step in and make this point himself. So forgive me Krin, if I'm overstepping my bounds here, but I felt like this needed to be said.
As one who recently earned a degree in Website Design/Development, I'm sorry to admit that this just is not a feasible option when you really think about it. It's not 'a few lines of code' or 'easy to implement' like people want to think. It's a large task that requires extensive coding (and that's not counting the actually adding it to the pages and Krin's "spaghetti" code), a new database and a lot of time. Plus, to implement a new database, Krin will likely have to shut down the website like he's had to do before when he updated/fixed/added databases... Meaning they will not be gaining money for the duration of the implementation. This could be a day, or even longer if things don't go right. And for something that simply will only improve the in-game market, not their banking. They wont really be making any money off of such a feature- people wont buy diamonds just for a pure-bred pet- that's a gold market, and they won't be selling anything through the diamond shop that will have to do with the pure-bred pets. It's a market solely player-to-player.
TLDR; It's difficult and lengthy to code and the shut-down to implement the code will be cost-ineffective.
