Alright, well first of all I hope everyone is having fun at the Summer Festival. I know that I've been struggling to multi-task but at least it's kept me occupied. So, I've been slowly giving everyone updates on my pregnancy during the voting rounds, and I decided to give you guys another little tidbit tonight since everyone has been so amazing about wishing me well and congratulating me. That is pronounced (KEER-in) for anyone not sure. The black bar is there because I had the last name on the image and it makes more sense to me not to advertise that. :P
Okay, so now onto the actual contest. As you may have noticed, the ending for this is only 36 hours from now. That is because I did not receive everyone's entries and so we won't be having any eliminations this round. This means that this voting is just for "fun" and I shortened it so we can move on quickly to the next round. We're getting very close to the end now.

EVERYONE PLEASE READ THE RULES!
RULES
1.) None of the entries will be labeled with the contestants name. This is what is considered a "blind vote", meaning no one will know who created what design. Once all of the votes are in I will put edit my Vote Counter post below so that everyone's name will be revealed.
2.) There is no real way for me to police this, but I feel confident that those of you who are contestants won't reveal which design is your's privately to anyone in order to get votes. If you are found to have done this you will be disqualified. Furthermore, if you accidentally post in this thread before the voting ends and indicate which design is your's I won't disqualify you, but you will not be eligible for anymore votes.
3.) VOTERS: When voting please vote for your TWO favorite designs. They will be numbered, so please refer to the designs you wish to vote for by number, and not just design name. Comments are welcome and I'm sure will be appreciated by the contestants, but please keep it positive.
4.) Contestants are allowed to vote, but it should go without saying that you shouldn't vote for your own design. I'll know whose is whose.
5.) Everyone have fun and please let me know if you have any questions or think I left something out.
ROUND SIX THEME - Emotions
Alright, so this theme is meant to be a little more "abstract". The challenge is to choose an emotion to base your design around, however I want you to find a corresponding emoticon to use as your "reference image". Please keep this as the basic round yellow smiley face variety. I've posted an example below. There are a lot of options for this theme, and lots of room to think outside the box. Angry, In Love, Surprised, Sad, Tired, Stressed, Sleeping (not technically an emotion but still counts), Silly, Crazy and so on and so forth. The trick is going to be how to make your design represent your emotion. Color and trait choices are going to be crucial. To make sure we have a variety, I'll do like I did for the colors, except I'll only be allowing one entry per emotion. There are SOOO many to choose from I'm not sure if this will be an issue, but just be prepared if I tell you someone already took that emotion when you turn in your design.
Also, just as a side note, there were a LOT of Griffi and Aerdini entries. Obviously I'm not going to ban these species, I just want to encourage everyone to try branching out a little bit.
Design #1 - Wrath/Anger Ny'Vene
Design #2 - Sweet Kisses Puffadore
Design #3 - Dreaming Aeridini
Design #4 - Bittersweet Love Zolnixi "A mash of bitter coffee colour, sweet strawberry-red tinge and blue butterflies to reflect the dimension of sadness to go along. Plus white flowers to reflect the pureness of that love."
Design #5 - Depression Lighira "In this depiction of depression, the colors are faded out into a grayish-reddish hue to symbolize the dullness of the world in the eyes of a depressed person. The magma runes make the fur appear cracked and worn, also symbolistic of the world. The wings are reminiscent of life before depression, but they are weighted down by the ball and chain (which is symbolistic of depression itself). The autumn dragoon mask covers the top half of the face almost completely, signifying the difficulty depressed people have expressing their feelings to the world, and their attempt to disappear."
Design #6 - Anxiety Aeridini "Anxiety is such a complicated emotion that comes in many forms. The cold, solid dread. Feeling feverish and faint, your heart pounding. Trembling hands and jitters, tension building up over hours and days. How it feels to have it slowly wrap its arms around you and make you feel absolutely hopeless and consumed by fear, and trying to hold on with the last bit of hope that everything might just turn out okay."

aaargh good entries yet again xD
votes for 5 and 6 pls?
i love 5 because of the muted colors, yet there's one color to it that gives it depth imo
6 also is muted, but there's a stark warm color that stands out in the monotone that accents the emotion. orange amidst the greys, plus being in that leaf gene, makes it seem like tension

I vote #4 and #5!
#4 is just really pretty, i'm not even sure if it captures the emotion well, i just think it's REALLY PRETTY. sorry.
#5 i can confirm is a pretty accurate depiction of depression, being manic depressive myself. the slight saturation was an excellent touch.
