So I've noticed that lvl 60 pets can still gain exp, does this mean they can still receive lvl up and proficiency points?

Also who is one of those people that you pay to have their pets traits tested to look for carries? I have some pets I want genetically scanning (?) and how much does it cost on average? ;)

How do you know what traits mask what? A friend has a Zolnixi with Dapple and he hates Fallow Deer because it masks Dapple. I've asked him and waiting for a response, but asking incase anyone has any extra info on this topic :D

Level 60 pets do still gain experience but they will not level until the level cap is removed. Once it is removed, experience will mean something again but it is kind of just there for now with Level 60s.

There are lots of users who are willing to genetically test pets for you. You can find a lot of testing threads in Breeding Discussion. Though there are users who may charge, a lot do it for free so find one of those users to test your pets.

Traits have a level of dominance based on when they were introduced so the older a trait is, the more dominant it is. You can figure out the order of dominance for traits by looking at the generator. The higher up in the list of traits for the slot a trait is, the more dominant. Any new trait introduced will automatically go to the bottom of the list. Because fallow deer was released well before dapple, breeding pets with these two traits together will result in the fallow deer being the visible trait. However, that dapple does not merely go away. Instead, it is hidden underneath the fallow deer and that offspring can pass on either fallow deer or dapple to its own children.

Hope this helps

If you go to the advanced search, you can see each of the traits for each species is assigned a letter. If you look at zolnixi, you can see that dapple is E, so everything above it will dominate it (A-D). Marbled fox is A, so it will dominate everything below it (B-E). Since there are currently no traits less dominate than dapple, the only way it can be visible is if the pet is EE. While fallow deer would be visible with BB, BC, BD, and BE.

Hope I didn't confuse you more. Lol.

Thanks both, that helps a lot and I understand it all :D

Just one last question; How do you remove the lvl cap? :)

You cannot, that is something Krin set up and will eventually be removed.
