I just think Halloween is time for scary stuff. Anyone with me? I am trying to suggest to the admins that there should be and official spooky story contest, and I absolutely love reading scary stories espesicially around Halloween so please, post in this thread if you agree this should happen!

Support, there could be a spooky title you get for winning like 'Ghost Storyteller' or 'Spooky Storyteller'.

I like the idea, however, things like this take a lot of time to judge. The admins would have to read each story, possibly multiple times, to decide a winner. It'd be very time consuming for them, which would take time out of handing out other prizes, making the site better than it already is, etc.

So in terms of practicality, i don't see it happening. The admin have much better things to do with the time they have, honestly.

If it isn't official, I will do a unofficial one later on :)

Another idea, although less time consuming, would be a spooky story 'ad lib' or 'fill in the blank'. That way, it's less time consuming but still gives you a spooky story of sorts to do.

I can try it out and see how it goes for this festival. :)
