I am a shameless Harry Potter addict. Pretty much all my crushes live in its pages. I love the character development and the amazing plot and devices. Story of my childhood. And the "Always" line at the end of the book...(excuse me, it's impossible for me to mention Harry Potter without Snape's amazing line.). Pretty much ties up all the loose ends then and there.
I do have to say that the first movie was awful. It's difficult to make a magical world without making it look at least a bit childish, and since most of the actors are children they really make the failure. I think the only good thing in the later movies was the actors. I'm not a huge fan of the movies.
I don't really read/watch anything but Harry Potter and the classics. I know, I know. So I'm afraid I won't be much help to you in anything else.
