As a far future suggestion for the exploration rework or something, I think it'd be nice to have a way to get through easy combat encounters with less inputs. Since someone else put a batle repelent suggestion, clearly I'm not the only one who gets a little tired going through random encounters during busy times like festivals.
A couple of turn based rpgs I've played recently had auto battle implemented in a way that I really liked, where auto battle meant every character used just basic attacks with random targetting, or going down the line of enemies in order. Far from the most effective strategy, but an incredible quality of life inclusion when retreading old ground.
From my perspective, auto battle would be nice for QoL but a fundamental change that'd conflict with things like festival board, however the automation isn't the part I really care about. One button to have all three pets use their '1' attack on target '1' and end turn would save 6 inputs every round of combat, and that would make a huge difference to how much hand-strain it takes to do stuff like two full runs of a festival zone a day for a month. A per-round based quick select instead of full combat auto could be useful in boss battles too since it'd mean the player is still in control and decision making every round.

I do have plans to tinker with an auto battle mechanic when I revamp our Exploration and Battle systems down the road. I can't promise anything at this point because there's too many variables, but it is on my radar and I'll see if I can manage to implement it in a way that feels right.
