With the loss of the second extension, and the fact that the first extension has not been maintained in a long time and not all aspects of it are still functional, I thought I'd make a thread here of suggestions for both accessibility features, as well as other features from both extensions. Here are some features I would love to see worked into the site itself:

1. As a number of other users have mentioned, the colour-coded nurturing buttons were extremely helpful for those of us with processing disorders that impact our ability to quickly figure out which nurturing button to click. That should also be a relatively simple thing to change in the code, I would expect.

2. Personally, I really benefitted from the ability to auto-fill pet names in the release dialog box. When releasing lots of pets, it's extremely time-consuming to copy/paste every single pet's name into the dialog box. If this were implemented directly in the site, I think it would probably make the most sense to have a setting (maybe in account settings or something so it doesn't get in the way of the pet profile pages) where you can turn on/off the release confirmation dialogue box. So users who want to still have to confirm to release can leave the setting turned on, but those of us who find it irritating (or who have joint pain, as was also mentioned by other users, and don't want to have to do more clicking than necessary) can switch it off. When switched off, we would instead just get a simple "are you sure?" when releasing, but not have to copy/paste the pet's name in to confirm.

3. From the original extension: The ability to preview what a pet will look like as an adult (if it's not genetically tested and the mutations are unknown, it would preview with no mutations). And, for genetically tested pets, the ability to see what a pet's hidden/carried traits would look like (or at least to see what the trait is called without having to go and open up the generator to see what trait the hidden letter corresponds to). These features are currently still working for the old extension, but there's no telling how long that will last, especially with various parts of the site being revamped.

4. The ability to quickly tell which avatar items in the trade broker you already own without having to hover over every single one. Maybe items you don't own yet are in bold?

5. The ability to randomise traits in the generator (with a toggle to include or exclude restricted traits). This was extremely helpful for designing theme submissions and would be an amazing tool for theme designers to be able to continue to access.

This is just a quick list off the top of my head of features I would personally find helpful. If anybody else has other ideas, either of things you liked from one of the extensions, or of new accessibility features, please add your thoughts below! (:

The feature I miss the most is the randomizer for the generator. It was a godsend in helping me establish that designs i was working on worked well for random sets of traits.

I think you pretty well covered it for what I use at this point in time. I did like the autofill on the names for pet releases a little better than a simple dialog box just because I've accidentally cancelled/done things I didn't want to do because the dialog boxes look so similar for different things. (This is especially true on mobile)

i know the inventory page will be updated in the future with some other comments made about revamps.
In the future, could we have an option to disable the auto sort features (another function from that extension) or a different placement so that mobile users may have an easier time navigating the page?
larger/labelled buttons would be helpful for players who are on mobile or are just generally not as familiar with the site as well.

temple door hotkeys would be a very helpful addition as well, in that you can press "E" and it will function as though you pressed "B" to enter a battle and allow you to pass through doors without clicking on the button. i know a lot of players who appreciate the ability to play almost entirely one handed.

the festival hotkeys, specifically for gardens/sculptures/cauldrons, would be an amazing feature if permanently added. it allowed the use of keyboard shortcuts to navigate between the pages and to nurture people's plants/sculptures without having to click and scroll each time. if i remember right, it also extended to the trick or treat feature and made it significantly easier to use for people who struggled to make it through the entire list.

i know it will require new/edited assets, but in the future a dark mode for the site would be insanely helpful.

this is also something i know has been discussed, but hotkeys for nurturing would be a wonderful addition. i know the color changes were the compromise, but it would be helpful for players who have problems with their hands (especially for longer periods of time).

I support all of these points, especially the trait randomizer. Designing themes is much harder without it.

I never used the old extension, but a trait randomizer would be amazing, and I'd love to see it on the actual site.

As for a different topic, I'd be interested in seeing a way to preview avatar items directly on the trade broker, or, at the very least, see them in the format your avatar is in. (So, you'd see the feminine version of avi items if you have the feminine version of the avatar equipped) I know you can go to the wardrobe and check, but I think this would be more convenient!

I've never used the extension so I don't know what things look like exactly that way. However, if possible just cause I'm used to the way nurturing is normally with the site, I would hope for there to be an ability to have it either way. If that's not possible though I understand things being color-coded for those who need it.

This is small thing but something that has made playing so much easier - using keys to progress in the LG. I can hit E to interact. I can hit a letter that I already use & keep my finger on instead of using my other hand to do a painful click. Hitting E to talk to the NPC and do it once more to complete the Humanitarian Aid quest instead of needing to click on the button makes it so much easier. Two quick E presses to interact & select is much easier than a full click.

Hot keys for fest Pet Growing features is also a big help to me. Again, the less clicks the better.

I would love to see hot keys for nurturing but I think thats been shot down in the past.

And just adding on support for color coded nurturing, name auto fill, and broker edits (for lack of a better word).

Honestly, I would love to be able to play this game with little to no mouse needed. Its much better on my wrists and fingers for me

As for other things -
I would love for an option to turn off the day/night cycle. I absolutely cannot see when in the lost grove at night due to having Visual Snow (it puts millions of tiny black&white dots in my vision which makes it super difficult to see dark colors). And due to being a night owl and having more free time at night it makes it very hard to play in the LG or any fest zone due to the darkness.

Ability to make the region chat larger. I have poor eyesight and am nearly blind in my left eye. The text is quite small and hard to read.

I understand that some of these could take quite some time.
These are things that would make my time playing sylestia much easier and allow me more comfort while playing

Ability to color or bold text or resize would be nice

I really cannot live without the "E to enter room" in extension 2. When in the temple having to move my cursor ro enter a room slows me down. And the coloured nurture buttons were perfect for me. I would often mess up and bored would get read a book. The loss of the ability to use an extension created to make the lives of those that play the game easier is the hardest hit besides the loss of trust and friends due to this. I hope Krin can maybe implement some changes to reflect what accessibility the extension gave us
