Prologue

Youve been living on your own for a while to be closer from your work/university. Of course, since youve only started living out of the familial nest there was no way you could afford a house right now, instead you were lucky enough to find an apartment. The flooring creak, the neighbours are loud, you share a community bathroom and you are pretty sure the previous tenant died in there, which would explain how cheep the places was but outside of those moderately small issues, the 3-room unit that you are occupying on the fifth floor is quite nice.
Things take a turn when, one evening, you came across a deer in the hallway while going to the bathroom. While it seemed to be alright health wise, the fur of its chest and front legs was stained in a dark tar-like substance and its eyes seemed unnatural, their dark orb devoid of any features seemed to held more intelligence as they should. Now, mind you, there isnt any forests near it to justify its presence in the area, let alone inside the building. As if understanding that it wasnt supposed to be here and, of course, before you could call anyone to deal with the issue, the animal casually turned away in the other direction vanishing after a few steps.
Later, back in your apartment you started to look through the internet, researching anything from the symptoms of a gas leak to some more unnatural causes to no avail, nothing seemed to work with whatever the hallway beast was. In the end, you went to a popular forum and asked there for any kind of folklore or answers on this topic and went on with your day. Less then an day later however, the thread was blocked and you were banned from making new posts on the site for 30 days with the warning that fake asks on urban myths were against the rules of the site. Though it seemed as if it had managed to bring you back some kind of answer on the thread, between users calling it a troll and jokes about needing some of whatever you had took, there were a few comments only with the word Necroshifter or Outsider that were being repeated between by several users.

- Unlike Numbers, the actions of a player in Second Timeline will not affect the reactions of reoccurring characters for others players

General informations

While this will be using the same specie of shapeshifter as Numbers did, this is a completely different story. The characters wont have as much of a past within human history so their views wont be tainted from the start, therefore they will be mostly pacific until their view get modified.

Keep in mind that it isnt a sequel, you dont nead to have played Numbers to be able to play this, all informations will be avalable to you without the nead of reading through a 3years long thread by having your character researching the two words that were given to you in the start of this thread.
