I'm in the middle of writing a story based around 3 kids [they're siblings, I have to clarify this for the rest of what I'm about to say to make sense], I'm planning on it being sectioning into 3 books for each of their POV's, I've already started on the middle child's POV so that one is a little bit more developed than the others but I can give a quick summary of their general ideas.

The oldest, Adriana is struggling to live up to her parent's ideals and is deciding to go to a faraway college for numerous reasons but namely to pursue her interest, but can't figure out how and when to tell their parents knowing they will take it the wrong way and/or berate her with reasons not to go.

The middle or 'sandwich kid' Noah, is constantly being overlooked and even neglected at times, paired with his more-than-melancholy personality and - in his eyes - his siblings' accomplishments outshining his own at every turn, everything comes tumbling down when his parents forget his birthday to deal with something involving his little brother.

The youngest is Briar, with his seemingly breezy life with little responsibility, comes home talking about a boy he met and how they'd held hands; which already alerts his excessively traditional parents who passive-aggressively gaslight him when he talks about 'liking' the boy, and it only gets worse when he mentions it at school.

All of their perspectives will be shown overlapping each other, for better and for worse. These are only their main problems, I have planned plenty of hurdles and obstacles keeping them from resolving their situations;
as a result of their individual issues and utter lack of communication, a new problem erupts making things possibly 10x worse, they develop resentment for each other, the oldest thinks that the other two are spoilt and have "nothing they have to worry about" unlike her. The middle's mindset is clearly set on how the other two get more attention from their parents, never really minding him and only taking notice of a bad grade or messy room. The youngest is practically shunned by his siblings by this point, their parents are already overbearing of him but now refuse to have any conversation or even mentions of his feelings for the boy.

This description is a bit messy and doesn't have all the details I'd have liked to, but I'd hate to spoil it if anyone's interested in reading the actual story. I'd love some constructive criticism as it is still in the drafting stage, I also can't decide who I want to have a happy ending and who I want to have a sad one. I'd also like to mention that these names probably won't end up being their official ones in the final draft, so maybe don't get attached to their beta names lol.

My main writing medium is typically fantasy-based since I can basically do whatever I want with worldbuilding, but I guess I just wanted to do something a little more relatable? If it was a fantasy I'd probably end up taking up three solid pages of places, things, and species; I would way over-do it. I have a lot of things planned for this story regardless, so if anyone really wants all the details just let me know, it may be a little messy but I think it's interesting nonetheless.
