The world is in two. Two halves of a whole. Too extremes that were never supposed to become a reality.

The entire world is split into a fiery hellscape and a frozen wasteland. A massive cliff marks the border between the two; it cuts further into the ground than anyone can even see.

But, a bridge has been formed; the lava of the Scarlet and the ice of the Tundra have created a rock platform that allows travel.

Now, the two kinds are fighting.

Species/location info:

The Scarlet is a mostly aquatic land. It's primarily composed of massive 'oceans' of lava, islands of glass beaches, charred dirt with patchy grass and few trees, and the occasional acid river. The creatures who live in the Scarlet are primarily aquatic and humanoid. Many have long, sleek bodies with sharp, jutting fins along their bodies. All of them can breathe lava, and the majority can breathe on land, but most can't breathe in water. Many have wings, and the few who don't are still incredibly agile. But, they're all not very strong.

The Tundra is technically also an ocean. But, the majority of this ocean is frozen over, and has been for centuries. The entire area is a swath of snow, and the plants have evolved to grow in it. The grass is long and wispy, and the trees are large and spiny. The foliage is everywhere; the entirety of the Tundra is a massive forest. Most creatures are thick and bulky, both to survive the cold and the predators. They are all very strong, but very slow.

Zenyu are a swift, aquatic snakelike species of Scarlet being. They're incredibly large, and have a second pair of eyes on the underside of their belly. They've got tiny, sleek scales coated in a thin layer of coarse fur, and their gigantic fins double as natural gliders in the air. They have staglike horns on the upper half of their back, which they use to catch prey. But, they also have finned arms with fingers that can also be used to find food when on land. They can create a material similar to a spider's silk, which back in their feral days they wrapped around their horns. Nowadays, they often use the silk to build their homes.

Sekrie are a small, agile land-species of Scarlet. They are very humanoid, but they have two massive, snaking tails. They can run incredibly fast, and they have wings on their arms that can be used to fly for long periods. Their tails are incredibly powerful and muscular, and they use this as a weapon. Back in their feral days, they used these tails to stun their predators and flee. They don't generally do this anymore.

Vrema are small, rabbitlike creatures of the Tundra. They have two sets of mouths; one on their face and the other on the underbelly. They have crests on their heads that look like leaves, and stripes to mimic the shadows of trees and ferns. Their head does not have stripes and is jet-black, making it stand out. In their feral days, this was used to lure predatory creatures. However, when attacked by a predator, they use their belly-mouth, which has powerful venom, to catch and kill the predator. Nowadays they just hunt wild animals.

Xenmi are large, wolflife beings with six legs. They have hooves and a large mane, and large, buglike eyes. They have slim necks to reach the fruits of larger trees. The middle pair of legs have small spikes on the back of them, which are used to scrape the bark off of trees to access the softer insides of trees for when fruit is unavailable.

(not sure if i should start yet, going to take it as a yes)

Darios, as his usual, was slowly wandering what once was a battle field. Dont get him wrong, it was still very mutch a battle field at time, tho for the moment this piece of land had been left beind by the fight, leaving nothing but desolation as the two sides moved ferther. Pushing away the bitter memories of his own battles he slithered through what was left of a small settlement like a ghost of the past, not realy looking for anything, just looking at what had been left behind.

Meanwhile, Yuki was exploring looking for anyone to talk to, it had been 10 months since she'd seen her parents and has been alone ever since, she stopped to question herself because she believed she was the reason her parents were separated from her and that if she had listened to her parents and stayed put she would still be with them today.

It's storming. Hard. One of the few things consistent between the two places is the rain. It's acidic at the Scarlet, and nearly hail in the Tundra, but it's rain.

The zenyu just huffed in slight disdain at the forced shower but did nothing to get himself out of the rain. Instead, he just kept pushing forward brefly stopping to inspect somthing on the scorched land from time to time. On the outskirt of the battle field, some housing hurryedly made were still standing, tho even by his standarts, those were hardly made at all. "Tsss ! Just another group of unprepared larvaes..." Now, the battle may have changed place and all but incompetence was still incompetence and the small piece of his pride he had managed to salvage from his past coudnt let him pass this mess without a comment about it.

All the aboveground houses were poorly made; Zenyu silk doesn't do well when it's dry.

Eather way, Darios kept moving forward and toward the stone bridge. He had nothing to fight for realy, and didnt felt like wasting his time pretending that he had. Like in the old, predatory days of his speacie, he had tied silk threads on and around his antlers, this coupled with his old scares probably made him look feral to those he had crossed path with, not like he cared about what others thoughs tho.

He bearly glanced at it, mildly annoyed to have been interrupted in his mindless wandering across the land. Still, his old fighting habits kicked in enough for his head to rise upward and back in a ready to strike posture for a moment.

It's a sekrie. It's small, but an adult; the females tend to be a fair bit smaller than the males.
