I am on The Untamed Forest Stage 2. I need to subdue bandit threat(I'm at 30%) and construct a barracks building(I have no where near enough materials to build anything). I have been on this stage since March. Is there a faster way to get it done other than living in the grove for hours and hours a day?

A good way to complete the Subdue Bandit Threat task is to defeat the Nightfall Captains. Each Bandit defeated will increase the completion of the task by 5%. Nightfall Captains respawn after 5 or so hours, so you can battle them at least twice per day.
A good party can also help you grind faster. It looks like this pet has one proficiency point available to allocate. I also suggest you level up your pets to level 70. It's much easier to defeat enemies at this level.
