(Don't mind the title coming from a Front Bottoms song.)
This roleplay is simple and doesn't have any underlying plot, based on the Netflix series "The End of the F***ing World" and "I am Not Okay With This", Be Nice to Me is about two childhood best friends, starting right after a party in the woods. During this party, one of the friends (Who has anger management issues and is known for blacking out and going on a rampage when pushed far enough, though it never goes too bad) blacked out and took out three other teenagers.
They are now terrified and the other friend decides it would be easier to get their friend a change of clothes and they'll disappear into the woods with a tent and their college savings instead of dealing with the police.
(I would appreciate having the character with black-outs because I already have a well placed out character for this position)

Heya! I'll start making my character soon :D
You can have the character with the blackouts, as I'm not too good at playing angry characters lol
Oh, and again, you are gonna have to guide me a bit. I have not watched either of those shows so I don't really know what the... background? I guess you would say? of this story is.
If you don't mind, could you maybe give me a brief description of the setting/base of the story is? It would be really helpful.
It might also help if you create your character first.
eee sorry if that's too much, I try to fit into the story as best I can. Not the sort where you just b l e n d and it makes the story boring, but just enough so my character wont look photoshopped into this little world.

Alright, well, the roleplay is loosely inspired by the shows not really retelling the stories. And sorry for taking so long to respond I'm working on my character, I just had a lot to do.
But to continue on the plot; Be Nice to Me is going to be set mainly in a car/hiking- depending if you want to have the characters hike or drive, the only gal is to get as far away from the police/place of the murders as possible and to lay low, there's not really any set place, for all they know, they could end up in another country. The roleplay will be set after the incident so every thing is fresh in the character's minds and we won't get stuck at a point.
The characters will need to like sneak into their homes to swipe some money, and a new set of clothes for my character? I'll figure out how that will work before the roleplay starts. If you're fine with it, the roleplay will be chalk full of drama between characters and other things, just to keep things interesting-

Bruno has always had anger issues, but they started to get more prominent towards Junior year and they just peaked at their worst. She is constantly stressed out, which doesn't help with the lack of grip on their explosive anger. These outbursts are caused by a severe case of Intermittent Explosive Disorder, causing them to black out when experiencing fits of rage often losing control in the process.
Though, through their stressed-out and angry exterior, Bruno is a very passionate and friendly person who's just scared of herself. Though she is easily set off, she does her best to show others that she cares and will often go out of her way to help people- despite getting frustrated quickly and accidentally breaking things further. She doesn't feel comfortable around kids only because she's worried she'll accidentally hurt them if they start crying nonstop/whine.
Everything Bruno likes, they are very passionate about, often talking non-stop about them excitedly- when they start it's hard to get them to stop- much like every other emotion they experience. Though, she is very apprehensive about stepping out of her comfort zone.
Likes:
+ Painting, they picked it up from their therapist to calm down- now it's one of their favorite hobbies.
+ Anything that has to do with music.
+ Gardening.
+ People they could bounce off of.

Dislikes:
- Stepping out of her comfort-zone.

Strengths:
+ Despite being small they have a lot of strength and speed packed into their little body, if they had the confidence, Bruno could be quite the athleat.
+ Because of her back ground in gardening, she can easily tell if plants are edible or not.
+ She can climb trees.
+ Bruno has a strong stomach, she can go unbothered by smells and visuals.
Weaknesses:
- Has no way of controlling her emotions and they usually end in fits of rage.
- Almost any unfirmilair situation causes Bruno anxiety- she isn't very outgoing.
- Most social situations leave Bruno uncomfortable and confused.
- Bruno is kind of a doormat, and will let people walk on her until she snaps- usually ending badly.
Backstory:
Burnette was born to a young couple who had just settled down in Mayberry Oregon, sadly, they weren't expecting the anger issues that began to show up in their sweet daughter when she turned four. Despite being bewildered by the sudden outbursts of rage, her parents still supported her and did their best to keep her stable. Eventually, they found what best helped was a strict schedule, the normally keeping their child calm, even if the start of school as a bit rocky.
Sadly, Burnette's issues didn't seem to go away, an unexpected change often caused outbursts. In junior year of highschool, their IED only got worse, the tests set her completely out of orbit, and she hasn't really been able to come back since.

The latest incident, happened at a highschool party in the woods. Bruno, of course didn't plan to go, but when her friend brought her along, the loud, drunk teenagers, unfirmiliar setting, and weirdos set her off. She blacked out, attacked five people, killing three of them with her bare hands. Now, she's covered in blood and running from the cops with her best friend.

Appearance:
A bit tall and lanky (6'3"). Curly pale ginger hair (kind of like a bleached looking orange?), and light brown eyes. Howie is quite pale and has freckles on his face, shoulders and arms. Always wears hoodies and jackets that are too big for him, and often paints his nails.

Personality:
Soft-spoken and a bit shy, he often plays the role of the quiet mom friend. Around people he doesn't know he is very shy and polite, but around his friends he is a lot more loose. Howie is forgetful, always leaving his belongings in places they shouldn't be. His memory in general is kind of terrible, constantly forgetting what he is supposed to be doing, or what someone just said to him if he isn't paying attention. He gets nervous easily, and small changes in his routine can disrupt his whole day. When your get to know him, he is really loyal and sweet. If you are kind to him he will stick with you for as long as you want him around.

- Random shiny things he finds on the ground. (he keeps them in a box)

His dad left when Howie was a toddler, and his Anxiety only got worse from their. As he got older, he made some close friends, and he started to gain a bit of confidence. Now he is in his last year of highschool, and planning to go to college for game design.
