Twenty years ago, the human race reached a golden age of technology. Almost every wound can be healed, and for the most part, death is not permanent. World hunger is nonexistent, and there is no more war. Things were perfect. And perfect was boring.

So, ten years into what seemed like endless perfect boredom, a solution was proposed; a game broad cast on live television for all to see. A number of random people taken off the streets are given some sort of weapon, power, or advantage of some sort, and they are set loose in a city with the sole purpose of Killing the other contestants.

Over the years, thousands of contestants have made their way onto the show, and the show has grown to the number one most popular show on television. Period. There is not a single person who has never seen at least a few minutes of the broadcast, which streams on its own channel 24/7.

Four contestants have just retired from the show, and the show needs replacements. So, four random people are taken off the streets, and given a design team.

The game is simple; for each person you kill, three years are taken off your sentence. Each time you are killed, three years are added to your sentence. In order to complete your sentence you need to reach a sentence of 0 years. Death is mostly non-existent, basically anyone can be revived unless they suffer extreme injuries or injuries caused by fire.

Should you kill someone in a way that does not allow them to be revived, ten years will be added to your sentence.

Extra info: Jack spends a lot of his time at the park nearest to his apartment, drawing pictures of the wildlife and plant life. when he's not at the park, he's usually at the aquarium drawing pictures of his favorite fish. Jack has ADHD, causing him to often lose focus and fidget constantly. he usually deals with this by drawing in the journal he keeps on him at all times.

Extra info: She usually goes by Konrad and is believed to be male when going by the alias. She has had experience being a bounty hunter, doing odd and end jobs that don't always involve killing, like kidnapping, giving false information, and getting true information out of people, among other things. Those that are not in the loop of needing a bounty hunter or such probably won't recognize the name, but they will most definitely recognize her symbol, a dragon wolf hybrid.
She had a girlfriend and was having a pretty solid and thriving relationship going until someone decided on a foolish idea of 'Hey, that person blissfully reading a book looks content enough to be ready to murder other people and should go into the game. This should be fun!'. She's ready to make the game-makers regret they ever existed and made such a game. Of course, revenge will have to wait. People like a good show.
