It always annoys me when I'm going through a ping list, and misspell one username, and I have to go through the ENTIRE ping list to figure out which one is wrong.

Like, let's say that the list is "Kittykat", "Dragon123", and "Floofy"

If my ping list reads Kittycat, Dragon123, and Floofy, and nobody happens to have the misspelled username, I don't get told which one doesn't exist.

My idea would basically just to have a popup message like "Kittycat" does not exist.

I think the reason this isn't a thing is that the pings would then have to match each and every name on the list against each and every name on site, which right now is 5,524 players.

It would have to match even against inactive players, because maybe you wanted to ping an inactive player for when they come back.

It would be nice if it had it, and I know that some sites have 'checks' to in various places to make sure the user exists (trying to remember if Sylestia is one of those. I know at least one site I play has a 'verify' button for when putting in a user ID to get the name, but that maybe Khimeros).

I think this could be useful, if it could be implemented without lagging the site badly, because my memory for names is horrible.

To be honest, I'd much rather pings worked via ID# because those don't chance versus names that now change very often. TwT I don't know who anyone is anymore and old pinglist's that go by name don't help when name changes happen. Pinging by ID# would make much more sense.
