Blair was fast asleep in a long patch of grass alone that she made into a makeshift bed she shifted into her sleep and her left ear twitched hearing a fox sneak past a fresh kill in her mouth takeing it home to feed her cubs "hmmm" Blair groaned and opened her eyes as a small robbin landed on top of her head though quickly flew off when the doe started to shift. Blair slowly stood up on her hooves and let out a yawn and glaced around realising that it was early in the morning the sun hadn't even risen yet "maybe I should use this time to get the good berries before they are gone" she said talking to herself

The crisp morning air fogged around his breath as he snorted. The buck kept watch over the small group of does and fawns like he did every time they slept. Now was no different. With fall approaching they couldnt be too careful even as the young were beginning to leave the herd. Normally they wouldnt herd like this but with the woods being as dangerous as they had been this year, it was safer to be in a large group. Dogs had begun to run the woods, the large packs being able to take down a deer easily. Already he had chased a few of them off, hints the large scar across the bridge of his nose. As the doe moved his ears perked forward towards her. Morning Blair. He said dipping his head to her. His horns had finally lost all their velvet.
