I know you can buy diamonds, but can you give them to another user? I got some for another user but I don't know how I can give them to them. If so, how?

Sort of, there's not a specific system in place that allows you to directly send diamonds to someone (I think that's something we'll see in the future) but you can use a roundabout method through the exchange.
The person who is going to be receiving the diamonds will need to set up a listing on the exchange selling 1 gold for whatever amount of diamonds. Once that listing is up the person giving the diamonds goes and buys their 1 gold listing off the exchange.
