I'm a little confused about selling the Sylesti. You can set a price, but how do other players know it's for sale? How do I know if I'm setting the prices too high or too low? Is there a page or something that I'm missing?

Atm, the only way to search for 'for sale' pets is through the Advanced Search page.
In the near future, we will be revamping the search page to be much more accurate and functional.
Additionally, we will eventually create an entire pet auction system that will make selling pets much easier.
But for now, all there is is the advanced search page.

Oh, okay. Thank you very much.
So I suppose I should go easy on the number of Sylesti I capture until that part of the site is constructed. A lil too easy to get hooked on all the fun features. ^-^

Probably. But you are free to play however you wish. =)
There is a bit of a pet overcrowding issue that we'll be addressing in the early months of the new year. So you may find it a bit hard to sell the pets you catch in the wild.

I would assume the ones with genetic mutations and high levels would be easiest to sell such as the Lupora I picked up earlier today having tribal markings and already being at Level 20 (which so far at my level in the game is pretty good).

Actually, I don't think people care about levels anymore. They care about genes and colors. Newer genetics are more prized, as are the ones with more genes/mutations.

I still care since I just got started. X3
But I suppose that'll change, huh?

Yeah. In my experience it seems once you get to the higher levels you'll start finding that you care less about levels and more about genetics, colors, and stats in some cases.
Edit: However, what I had meant was that price-wise, I don't think people factor in levels.

I'll have to keep that in mind the future.
Unfortunately, I've been sitting on an enhanced essence that I can't sell. I lower the price every now and then, but as far as I can tell it's the lowest broker price.
