PART TWO: FINDING CLUES hello, dear students, and welcome. i see you all have an idea of what they look like, but where did they go? we have a few clues to where they went, but we we are still needing some help with the specifics. well, here is our notes
-Deputy Headmistress Hallows
~ two sets of hoof prints were found entering the forbidden forest
~petals were scattered around the exit to Hogsmeade
~ reports have come in from Hagrid about pawprints and clawing in his pumpkin patch
~ students have found scales around the eastern banks of the lake, and the mermen have been spooked for some time, talking about wingless dragons.
so... do you know where they went? or is Professor Hallows pulling our leg?

"Hoof prints? Both Bolt and Coffee have hooves, so it's them. The fact that there's two sets means they were probably travelling together. Maybe they were preying on those entering the forest? Or they kidnapped someone, and made us think the kidnapped entered the forest?"
"Petals could be Coffee or Iris. It's probably Iris, as Coffee was in the Forbidden Forest. However, Coffee may have stopped by Hogsmeade before meeting up with Bolt. Maybe Iris was trying to diguise herself among the people?"
"Pawprints is definitely Aristocrat, and claw marks would be Grayson. It could be that they were hungry before they started kidnapping. Another scenario is that they were trying to hide what they were kidnapping."
"Scales? That's Grayson, so he might've went to the lake. It's possible that he would drown the kidnapped students."

Hoof Prints are Coffee and Bolt. Maybe they were carrying the students between them? Petals are Coffee or Iris, but probably Iris, since Coffee was in the forbidden forest with Bolt. there could be someone that Iris was supposed to meet in Hogsmeade? Claw marks could be Grayson or Aristocrat, since both have claws. Paw prints are definitely Aristocrat, and scales and a wingless dragon is definitely Grayson. I think it was probably Aristocrat at the pumpkin patch since we know he was already there, and Grayson was at the lake.
So this is what we have:
Forbidden forest: Coffee and Bolt
Hogsmeade: Coffee or Iris
Pumpkin patch: Aristocrat or Grayson
Lake: Grayson
