how do i get more pets? i just started the game and i would like to get 4 more monsters than my one so i can do missions so i can make gold.

You can catch more pets using traps, or you can buy them from other users. You can also generate some, but you'd need essences to do so.
I have pets in the 2nd post of my thread here that you can buy pets for nearly free (1g, as cheap as it gets xD), if you want more pets to work with. :) (I need to give them away anyhow, and I'm hoping newbies that would want more pets could take em >//< )
