Anytime I check the map, it ends up showing only the explore version of Esior's Haven no matter how far I explore in it. I can't get any new quests or anything because of this- how do I fix it?

I'd suggest posting this in the bug report forum instead?

(Unless you haven't been battling everything, in which case that might be it? Since plot progression in regions 1 and 2 is based on battles. But yeah, you might want to post it in Bug report forum)

Ahhh alright, I thought that it wasn't really a bug as much as I was just missing something, like an off botton. I blew about the past half an hour battling through while I already finished up all of my quests and whatnot, so it's definitely not a problem of me doing nothing. rip

ironically it literally just fixed itself after I took about a 20 minute break huh. Ty again tho!

I may be completely wrong, but the only time I've seen "Explore" in Esidor's Haven (after the quests that is) is when there's a special event going on. I'm not sure if you noticed, but there was probably a banner across the top of the site in yellow that said something along the lines of "Bandits are attacking Esidor's Haven! 0/171" This is just a special thing that happens every so often, and you can get rewards if you defeat enough bandits. If you don't have any interest, doing what you did and just taking a break usually runs the time out, as about fifteen minutes is as long as they take. Hope this helps!

mm, could have been that? I considered and discarded it because of the mention of the map, which we took to mean the World Map as a whole, rather than something like 'the esior's haven map' (since we just... think of that purely and simply as 'esior's haven')

The world events, when they're taking place in Esior's Haven or Sanctuary of Saerielle, do prevent access to those locations until players have collectively brought the event to its conclusion
