Mermaids have been living with humans for years. But 10 years ago mermaids vanished and left. Nobody knew why they left but they did. Rumors have been going around like 'oh the must have been wiped out by sharks' or 'there king called them back',so nobody ever set foot in the water again because they felt whatever made the mermaids vanish it would make them vanish too, So nobody ever knew the full story behind the mysterious vanishing. 10 years later and humans have forgotten all about mermaids, the parents never told there children about the beautiful creatures that roamed the waters of there town. That sung lovely songs and took them on playful adventures. Instead they told them mermaids were myths and was never real. You live on the edge of the beach in dorm rooms close to your high school with your friends, you always listened to your parents story's and you didn't believe them because you swear you seen one. Now you have to find out what happened to the mermaids and were are they now

Nate yawned and sat up in his bed he could hear his parents arguing downstairs there always arguing but he didn't know why this time he also didn't want to find out. He grabbed some clothes from his drawers and got into the shower he was surprised he woke up this early on a Saturday but that also gives him more time to be outside

I rested on a rock covered in kelp and other things that surrounded the watery floors. I grabbed my brush and started de tangling the tangles from my hair humming a toon that was on a humans radio yesterday

Ahmewave swam happily as her pet sea slug, Hydrashaw, followed behind her. "Hurry! I saw some cool stuff yesterday that I want to check out today. Don't be such a slow poke!" Hydrashaw gurgled in offense. "Sorry." She swam over and nuzzled him. "You know I love you." She carried him to what seemed to be the wreckage of an abandoned sailing ship. "Isn't cool?"


Alexander stretched and yawned, ready to greet the day. The bakery would open in half an hour, so he had to be quick. He took a quick shower and got dressed and grabbed a poptart as he headed out the door. He rode his bike down to the store with five minutes to spare. He unlocked the door and went inside, pulled on his apron, and stood behind the counter, ready for another day at Buns of Steel.

Nate got dressed and walked downstairs he grabbed a pancake from the table and shoved it in his mouth before walking outside it took him a while but he managed to make it to the cafe "hello!" he said as the door closed behind him "can i get a mocha please" he said softly reaching the counter

Eva Swam in the water rodes threw the town swimming under boats and other things that might poke her. When she knew she was safe she stuck her head from above the water and the smell of bread and other sweets filled her nostrils. she looked over at the bakery and watched the sweets in the cases

Ahmewave found a small item that when she looked at it, she could see herself. She began to make funny faces in it and then laughed. "I think I'll keep this Shaw. What do you think?" He gurgled happily. "I agree one hundred percent." Continuing, she found a box that played music, half a dress, and hat.


"Comming right up!" Alexander turned to the machine. The machine whirred as it began to make the drink. "I don't think we've met before, and I like to know everyone." He put out his hand. "My name is Alexander, but you can call me Alex." He smiled in a warm and comforting way.

Nate looked at his hand then back at him "im Nate" he says friendly and shakes his hand "how is your morning going?"

Eva flopped back into the water and swam out and seen the ship out the distance she giggled and swam over to it with excitement she swirled around some poles and jumped out the water smiling as the air swept over her face before landing back in the water on her back 'that was fun! to bad i don't know how to make my tail glow that would be amazing'

Ahmewave took her things and out them away, then swam closer to shore, hoping to find things there. She heard a splash and looked around. Humans didn't usually swim this far, did they? Did someone fall in the water? "Lets investigate. Come on Shaw." He gave a uneasy gurgle but followed.

"Considering I just met someone new, great!" The machine making the mocha finished and dinged. Alex handed the drink to Nate. "Here ya go! And It's on the house. Feel free to stop by anytime, and even bring friends."

"okay!" he smiled then remembered "oh me and my friends are going to the beach Sunday night to investigate this cave we found a few days ago wanna come!" he asked happily

She found a few lost dolphins and played with them turning and twisting. She giggled petting one before telling them which way they are supposed to go and they went on there way. She poked her head above the water watching the humans and the beach drifting with the waves.

Ahmewave swims over where she heard dolphins playing. "Oh hello there!" She swam past them where she sensed another mermaid. She found this odd. She hadn't seen another mermaid in Posiden knows how long, and it made her nervous. Still, she called out. "Hello?"

"The beach?" Alex shifted uneasily. He was deathly afraid of the ocean and anything related to it, including beaches. He had almost drowned when he was 5 and never went back. "Uh...Well....Sure..." He mentally slapped himself. He'd make a fool of himselfand everyone would laugh at him. On the other hand, he wanted to hang out with people.

"okay how about 7:30? oh and dont bring anything to swim in we wont be in the water" he smiled and gave him a twenty dollar tip before walking out the cafe

Eva dipped under the water and the scales on her tail stood up as she could hear someone under the water 'humans are never this far out and why are they under the water this deep' she asked herself going towards the voice
