I think that there should be more probability of getting an essence from a battle or from nurturing. I'm getting tired of having to buy them for like, 14000 coins apiece. If that can't happen, at least let there be an essences kit where you can buy multiple essences, instead of having to buy just one for a ridiculously high price.

Nurturing used to have a much higher drop rate. It eventually got nerfed because there were too many essences flooding the market. 14000g is not a lot for an essence. (Especially when you compare them to the diamond shop equivalent: 250 diamonds/500k) Essences can also be found by playing Jinxies Jamboree (once again theyre rare). Increased chances arent really necessary, so Id say no support from me.

My best suggestion if youre having trouble would be to continue to progress your level. Gold is really easy to get when you hit level 60/70. Until then, nurturing when you can and selling Lesser Pet Dyes (from the scale shop onto the trade broker) might be the best way to fund your essence ventures.

Also, if you're looking for a specific essence, you can always make a thread in the Item Marketplace forum and offer however much/whatever other items/pets you want to offer in return for said essence.

However, as Imperium said, 14k gold really isn't very expensive. It seems like it is early on, but once you get to the current end game content (the Lost Grove) there are chests where you can find 10k - 100k a pop. Not to mention the seasonal festivals where selling most of the stuff you get over the course of the festival will net you a couple million pretty easily (next one is scheduled for the end of this month).

'Free' essences are meant to be rare so that they continue to be worth something. So... yeah, no support here either.

No support here either. 14k is really nothing to pay for something 14k in a super deflated value already without increasing rates further. My stable hand takes more than 14k per day feeding all my pets pretty sure
