People are fascinated by the strange. Many people have used this fascination to their advantage. Through all sorts of displays, shops, and shows. However, none have ever fascinated the world like Misty and her circus. She travels the world showing off her strange creatures and talented, almost magical, actors. No one has figured out how she does it or where it all comes from.
The truth behind her shows is far more horrid than most can imagine. She takes advantage of children with no home, bringing them into her show as actors and treating them with little kindness or respect. When they fall into her grasp, she does something to them to change them, to make them more magical. They are forced to perform from there on with little hope of escape. They are now apart of her show, an object for her gain and all are too fascinated by the bright colors and strange sights to ever see the abuse that is behind it.

Jen is very kind. She has always helped the other performers best she can. She rarely ever gets angry at people or dislike them. It is uncommon to see her sad or mad. She keeps a journal to keep track of her emotions.
Magic:
She can turn into a mermaid whose song is impossible to resist
Her main drawback is she can not touch water without changing and often while on land she becomes incredibly tired or struggles to breath, especially when she has spent a long time in water.
Role: She does an act at the beginning of the show of her swimming and singing, often accompanied by other aquatic animals.

She is Misty's niece. When her parents died, she was put into her aunt's custody. She became one of her Aunt's first actors and has been apart of the circus longer than most. She is generally treated slightly better than others, having her own little trailer and enduring less abuse, but it is still pretty wretched for her. Most don't know about her relation to Misty.
Other: When not performing, she is usually in a wheelchair as she is a bit awkward about walking.

Personality: A quiet girl who enjoyed performances, but never liked being the focus until the circus. Still very quiet.
Magic: Allomancy, needs metals to use any of her power. Access to metals can be restricted by Misty to limit her. Also, push and pull effect will be explained in an edit later with a chart for how magic works.
Role: She uses Iron and steel to "fly" with coins beneath her and metal poles in the tent. Pewter helps her survive mistakes and tin keeps her alert.
Appearance; light brown hair, greenish-gold eyes, a kind, nervous face
Background: She was young, only six, when she came to the circus, and does not remember much of anything before that, only vague flashes.
Other: she has a beautiful singing voice and often sings while doing her tricks. She loves reading and learning.
She can only use four of the metals, Iron, Steel, Tin, and Pewter.

The Push and Pull Effect, or Balance with Allomancy

Every push has a pull, every action has an equal and opposite reaction. if she pushes on something, it pushes back, and vice versa. she can use this to her advantage, but has to be careful. pulling on something smaller than her sends it hurtling towards her, where on something too large, it causes her to fly towards it. same for pushing, moving away instead of to. Pewter and Tin, as they affect her herself, work a bit differently. the push and pull more, stech her. using pewter and tin keep her alert, but she's even more tired when she runs out or stops burning them. they enhance her physical abilities and her senses, but she has to control it or the sensory input will overwhelm her. the damage she can survive while burning Pewter is a lot worse than what she can survive on her own, but she needs to keep burning it until she heals enough, which can be hard if she's unconscious.

Okay, so given more information about allomancy, that is a bit over the top. I am worried it may be one too many powers even if it requires she have certain metals to do them.
