While looking through at the options for Advanced Search, I realized a button to add "fabled" as a criteria. I tried to figure out exactly what it meant by looking at some of the pets noted as fabled and I've got nothin'. Are they especially easy to raise or something?

Fabled denotes certain species, which are rarer than the Regular species. They have naturally higher base stats (about double what Regular species have) when tamed/ generated/ created via Gardening/Brewing/Sculpting/Ice carving, and a longer breeding cooldown (7 days)

Fabled species:
Seasonal Fableds- appear in the wild only in their respective festzone
> Aeridini, Spring
> Lighira, Summer
> Ryori, Fall
> Griffi, Winter

Wild Fabled- found at any time of the year in at least one Zone
> Nephini, only in Astryl's Vale, Fest Zones, and Lost Grove, Very, very low encounter rate
> Ferrikki, only in Lost Grove (with Wild Themes appearing in Fest Zones), Low encounter rate

Shop Fabled- never found in the wild
> Ny'vene, only from Arena Shop, or as Forsaken Guardian Eggling from Vierna
(> Puffadore are not Fabled, as they lack the stats and the breeding cooldown. They are considered 'pseudo-Fabled', as they cannot be found in the wild, and their Catalysts during fests for Brewing/Gardening/ etc are counted as Fabled for the rarity)

(there have been short, specific exceptions to the availabilities in the wild such as the Spring Blossom event and the Special Name Aeris)
