The year is 2203. After a nuclear war destroyed the Earth and made it uninhabitable, so what remained of humanity survived in space on a giant ship with artificial gravity, oxygen and water recyclers, and a farm. Any adults who commit a serious crime are launched into space while anyone under the age of 18 is kept in a prison cell until they turn 18, which is when they will be put on trial to see if they live or die.
However, this time around, something strange is happening, you and 99 of the other prisoners are all being shipped away, regardless of age. The gaurds put a mechanical wristband on your arm and put you in a room with 100 seats as well as the other prisoner kids.
The guards fasten everyone into their seats and quickly exit the ship, and a video on a screen appears, informing you that all of you are being sent down to Earth as a test to see if it's survivable for humanity again.
