We noticed something strange so we have up and decided to do a Science.
Looking for what the payouts of missions are- The gold, exp and Reputation/Faction Reward payout for poor, satisfactory, and exceptional completions of missions
Moreover, we're looking at the differences between:
What the Barracks page (information in the popup when you go to send a pet on the mission) says the base payout is, what the Mission Log says the base payout is (information available on in-progress missions), what the Complete Mission message says the payout is (popup when you hit the 'complete mission' button), what the Mission History Log say the payout was (information in the Mission History popups), and what your actual payout was.
(only people who have not maxed their Reputations with Esior/Saerielle will be able to see what their actual rep payout is since once you hit Allied it just shows "9000/9000"; would be interested to get some reports on that.
Do missions give AP? People with non-maxed AP report?)
(if you want to then perhaps
> the mission satchel average reward output for each level if anyone would like to do that- it'd require recording the exact outcomes of at least 100 of every level of mission satchel though
(Google Spreadsheet (if recording equips mark them with U, R, E, or L to denote rarity))
and/or
> record relation of mission to pet stat, eg. "mission was lv25 easy, pet has relevant stat of 'X', outcome was 'Y'", to get a better look at average stat ranges (since there is some rng involved in outcomes unless the pet is far over the Exceptional line)

(and hey, there isn't really a guide that covers exact mission payouts. There is the guide to mission pets and missions, but it's about how to DO the missions/set up for them, not the payouts)
This is something I noticed while doing my missions, when I press on one of the already completed lvl 50 missions it says that I received 4800 gold from it but while completing the same lvl mission it says I received 7200 gold and that's what matches my current gold amount.

This is interesting. I'm about to start doing missions again. So I'll compile some data for you.
Usually I mix them around so that I only do harder missions but those stats seem to not have any issues.

Updated to an altered version of mission satchel spreadsheet at Sraw's recommendation. All information that was in the previous version was transferred across.
New setup is one tab/sheet for each mission level, each with its own gold/equips/healing items/essences columns which is hopefully easier to use?

I don't have capped ap yet so I checked for you whether it gave me ap or not. Completing a lvl 25 very hard mission exceptionally have me 65 ap.

Ooo this is an interesting idea. I can probably help with the satchel rewards stats if I ever find the motivation to open my 2500 mission satchels <.<

As near as I can tell, if you wish to have the 2 satchel reward for lvl 50, you need at least 650 in the required stat. I've noticed that I only got 1 satchel when it(the stat required) was over 500, or even over 600, but not at 650.
Not entirely sure what is needed for lvl 25, sorry. But getting the 2 satchel rewards essentially doubles the reward, as if you did the original mission report twice over.

got a decent pile of data but we'd welcome more- we've got a pretty nice stats setup for readout now too.
Would still really like more stuff on mission results-
if anyone would like to post what amounts to "I sent a pet with X amount of Y stat on a Z-level/difficulty mission and got ____ result"?
there is RNG in the outcomes but it would be interesting
