(Ok we're starting)

Welcome y'all to Runaways! This isn't the band, Runaways btw.

What this is about:
100 years into the future, humans biology hasn't changed one bit, but the technology has. The biggest change is the nanobots. At 17 years old, the chip is inserted into the human brain, making communication, work, and just technology in general easier. Only things is the government is using this as mind control, so the world is nothing more than their puppets. But, a group of kids aged 8 to 14 years old figured this out and want no part in it. The only safe place is the massive forest left behind in Europe. So the kids ran to live their lives freely. But, the government was outraged, so they now hunt them, and they will never give up until those kids are theirs....

Camp is hidden in woods and is behind waterfall in a cave.

Jazzlyn and Jack were at the camp, I believe, and if not I can edit this.
Jazzlyn sucks in a deep breath, ignoring the stabbing pain in her side that was the result of cracking half her ribs from a big fall and a dagger to her gut, though both were her fault. She had jumped off something super high with Jack in her arms and broken their fall. She had ran, tripped, and stabbed herself with her makeshift dagger when diverting someone's attention so Jack could leave. She had caught up quickly enough. Jack was safe and that's all that mattered. She glances lovingly at her brother, who was currently giving Tiggy a bath before running around, pretending Tiggy was flying.

Nellie

Nellie walked into the main room into the camp. She was less cheerful then usual, like she just heard bad news.

Jazzlyn instantly looks to Nellie, "Is everything alright?" She asks, standing up from sitting down. Jack looks up to Jazzlyn when she spoke, because he was a good boy and listened to everything she said, especially in case it was something important like an order he had to follow through with. After realizing his sister was talking to someone else, Jack flaps Tiggy around the room once more.

Nellie

"Well, sort of... while looking for food I heard loud footsteps, and what I believe was a gunshot. Maybe someone was going hunting, but I doubt that... just worried. I feel like we all need to be ready." Nellie said with concern. She wouldn't know what she'd do without her friends.

"Oh... Let's hope it wasn't anything dangerous and if it was, something on our side." Jazzy says, trying to speak with more emotion than she usually was and be more attentive. She didn't want Nellie to be worried or in any danger. She looks to Jack, who pays attention when she says to be ready. He takes Tiggy and heads to make sure everything of his could be packed up or left with quickly in case they needed to do that. He kept a tight grip on his stuffed toy.

Nellie

"You're right, I need to chill, just worried about that, since we all sacrificed a lot to be free." Nellie sighed, still pretty stressed.

"You have the right to worry. We have sacrificed a bit more than what I'm sure a few of us were expecting, and I'm willing to give my life for you and my brother if it is to keep you both free." Jazzlyn says, hesitating before gently patting Nellie's shoulder.

Nellie

Nellie gave Jazzy a warm smile, before gasping in surprise at a small boy standing in the doorway of the cave.

Unknown Boy

"Hello, my brother is acting weird." The boy sighed sadly. "He abandoned me." He frowned.

Jazzy smiles back at Nellie before turning around in confusion when her friend gasped. Her dagger was already half out of its sheath. She puts it away again when she realizes its someone not taken control of... hopefully.
"Brother? Tiggy can be your brother and I can be your bestest friend. I'm Jack, this is Tiggy." Jack says, giving the new boy a one armed hug since his other was in a sling, set and bound, so it would heal properly. Jack instantly accepting the new guy as his friend. A slightly damp Tiggy never left his hands as he showed the boy his stuffed toy.
