what items (armor etc.) are best for a fire pet? rebuilding my party and need advice ^<^

Under lv60, Evoker, over lv60, Pyromancer.
Fire pets are Magic element attackers, and so you want equips that emphasize Intelligence and Dexterity.
(other options:
for lv0-24, lv0 Esior's Haven Town Hall equips (Guardsmen's Pulsing Relic, Guardsmen's Clairvoyant Bracer) (Require high Reputation with the town to buy)
for lv25, Ember's Armor of Flames (Mythical, no matching Int/Dex Relic or Bracers)
for lv26-49, lv26 Sanctuary of Saerielle Town Hall equips (Runic Elven Relic/Armor/Bracelet of Shadows) (Require high Reputation with the town to buy)
for lv50, Archon Relic/ Armor/ Bracers (Mythical), Ancient Relic of the Pyromancer (Mythical))
