does anyone have suggestions on how to beat desios in the forgotten tomb? he beats me before i have him down to less then 3/4 health. it is really frustrating because i have no idea what to do

Did you activate all the glowing rune things?

Each one weakens him a bit.

Others know the specifics of those things better than me tho.

I activated none of them i didn't know how, do you know?

From what I know, it's based on selecting a pet with the correct stats for each one of 4.

There are translations somewhere that tell you which ones.

You might also want to adjust your team's proficiencies and equips-
overall, their equips are somewhat lacking, I'd suggest lv25 legendary just for the moment would be better than most stuff they currently have (or Sanctuary of saerielle town hall gear if you have access to it)

shadow pet in slot 1, equips should be illusionist (int/agi). I know jack all about shadow tank profs though

Sunset has an unused prof point. As light healer, he'd typically have 2int. Equips should lean towards Evoker (int/dex) though illusionist can also be used

Emerald should have all Myrmidon (str/dex) as an Air attacker, and profs would typically either be 2str or 1str/1dex


At the moment, I don't think any of your three party pets would actually be able to activate any of the seals, since they call for a pet that is 'true' to each seal's stat- which form my understanding is 'more than 200 in the stat without equips being counted'. At the moment the closest is your shadow pet with 191 in int when equips are ignored (that is, base stat+level bonus+proficiency). Since all of your battle pets are lv46, two points in a prof would be more than enough to pass any of the seals, but you could also use a Mission pet that already has a high enough stat just for the seals, swapping them in and then immediately out again.


Each seal activated will decrease Desius' power, thus making him easier to defeat.
The text puzzle that you translate tells you the order that you find the seals in, but uses different words, which can be confusing. The words correlate to stats as:
