ok, so i know the basic ways to get gold. missions, quests, etc. but those of you that have huge amounts of gold (like in the millions) how did you manage to get that much? just curious!

It becomes easy to farm armor once you reach level 70, because by then you've unlocked Lost Grove and can beat dungeons generally easily. By selling all that extra armor it can get you loads of gold.

the lost grove tasks + selling the exotic equipement give you about 180 to 220k a day, add on top of that the missions and the amount of gold go way up rather quickly. Selling stoneweavers equipement can also be a somwhat reliable way to get some gold as they sale for around 1M each due to the difficulty to unlock them. ^-^

Just piggy backing off of everyone else, the first step would be to get to level 70. Or at least 60+. Grinding in the Lost Grove can make you a lot of money but it also takes quite a bit of time. Personally, my favorite way to make money is fests. Fest zones during the major fests can make you a ton of money if you sell everything you get from defeating the bosses. Especially if you do it during the first week of the fest. The longer you wait to sell fest items the less they'll be worth. Defeat the bosses as many times as you can per day (if you time things properly then 3 times is possible but 2 is fine as well) and just sell everything. Much money will be made.

the answer from us is literally "getting all the mission slots and then just pretty much constantly having pets on Very Hard missions"
Also from selling equips and fest avatar items, but primarily it's missions- a single lv50 very hard mission can net us more than 15k at once (4800 gold for exceptional completion of mission + 2 mission reward satchels that can each contain over 5k gold) after all


(also not just spending all of it wildly during fests, but generally I manage make back most of or all of the few hundreds of k I spend during a fest over the course of a fest)
