The story of Kiaro (Victorious One)

This is a story about a young wolf who travels far just to find his place in the world. As the world is crumbling, young Kiaro(meaning Victorious One) goes on a journey to discover who he is but instead finds something even greater. Lets begin our journey to the beginning of Kiaro's birth...

Deep in the forest, is a mother(Roxy)giving birth to three pups. Little Scout(Male), Shelia(Female), and Little Kiaro. Poor Kiaro was the runt of the litter and their father(Torak) being alpha of the SAW pack, he did not accept runts. Kiaro was safe for now but soon roxy would have to make a choice to either abandon Kiaro or fight to keep Kiaro. Eight weeks approached fast which meant it was time for the little ones to be introduced to the pack. Roxy knowing how Torak would react to Kiaro being a runt, she decided to leave kiaro in the den. Kiaro watches his mother and his siblings start to fade away into the distant. Kiaro is so confused, not sure if he should follow or stay. He decides to stay until his mother and his siblings come back. Two days of waiting and still no signs of mother. Hunger makes kiaro leave the den to find food. Kiaro searches for food and sees a hare grazing on a bush. As agile as we know a pup can be, Kiaro charges as the hare. The hare hears the loud crunch of the snow and runs away. Kiaro is so desperate he begins to eat the bush and if Kiaro doesn't begin to consume the amount of food needed to survive, maybe hunger will get him first. Kiaro searches to find food and find his mother but no luck on mother but luck on finding food. Kiaro sees another hare grazing on a little sprout of green. Learning from his mistake earlier, he this time quietly approaches. Kiaro gets as close as he can and suddenly an owl swoops up and grabs the hare. Kiaro runs after the owl and just as the owl gets some air, Kiaro jumps on a branch and bites down on the hares body. Kiaro's body weight starts to drag the owl down. Kiaro and the owl fight for the meal but suddenly the owl uses its beak and strikes kiaro on the hip. Kiaro desperately wanting the hare, doesn't let go and uses all his body weight to bring the owl and the hare down. Finally, Kiaro has advantage of being on ground. Kiaro uses his claws and strikes the owl right in the chest, drawing blood from the owl. The owl wounded gives Kiaro the chance to kill the owl and have the hare for dinner. Kiaro eats the hare and takes the owl to a safe place to store. He heads back to the den and buries his meal.
