So imagine a world where magic existed? Used for good and bad, it was part of life. Until Tippy and Rin decided to open the gates to Furhola, a place where evil presences are locked away. A savior, Chilly, saved the day and locked all them away again, including Tippy and Rin. Now magic is lost... or so it seemed. Now a new villain is rising, who wants to open the doors of Furhola and free all the monsters inside. Will they succeed? Or will they be stopped?

In the world of Nartar there is two kingdoms, the kingdom that hates magic, Ritkle and the kingdom that's dependant on magic, Hariso. Both kingdoms are in constant conflicts with each other because of there big difference in beliefs. Hariso is much smaller in size and population then Ritkle. The only reason Ritkle hasn't taken over Hariso, having a much bigger army then Hariso, is because Hariso is armed with magic. Magic is illegal in Ritkle, punishable by death. In Hariso, magic is encouraged and praised, often rich people having powerful magic.

Both cities are much designed like today with one big difference, electronics are not as advanced as today. They may have fancy homes and stuff, but phones or computers do not exist. Because of the magic in the world, people have not developed technology like they have irl.

Just a quick run down on magic. There are two categories for magic, magic by blood or developed magic.
Magic by blood is magic that is passed through by genetics. Most the time the magic is the same or closely related to your descendants magic ability. Ex. Your mother knows water magic, you inherit magic and know ice magic.
Developed magic is magic that develops over time. It can be pretty much anything, from creating portals to controlling sludge. This is NOT affected by your descendants. You can have parents that both have earth like powers and you could have fire powers. Ex. Your descendants have no history of magic, but when you are 11 you realize you can control metal.

*Takes break* I'm back! Ok ok, what next? Right, setting!

Scout, since maybe(?) all your characters have powers, I'm going to say they where sent from Hariso to try and see why people hate magic so much or something xD.

Our characters are going to go to a school in Ritkle! It's just like schools irl except of course no computers or stuff...

I don't know if Austyn is going to have magic. He is literally the most human-y human to ever live. I cannot think of him with magic. At all. Which is strange. Usually I have a magic alternative for my characters, but for him I have none...
One question: shall we start now(once I send you the form for Austyn and Riley(which might be a while since I've got class))?

You don't need to have magic, Zio will not have magic either, I changed her so she wouldn't. I guess we could start now, take your time with your characters =3! Wait... why do you have class *is confuzled* oh, school must have started for you... okay, still feel free to take your time xD

Now to start!

Zio walked down the hallway, a small smile on her face. She was heading to the new school that had been built and her parents had 'asked' her to join it. She had simple clothes, making sure to wear a long sleeve shirt and pants to hide her scars.

Will was chilling in the class, dozing a bit at his desk. Zio was supposed to be here soon, but until she came he would be fine with napping. He was wearing all black, before nothing is more normal then being the goth kid of the class.

Azrail skipped into the class, shouting a chipper 'hello' to anyone already there. He screeches to a halt at his seat, placing his backpack on the back of the seat and sitting down. Eyes bright with cheer, he scans the classroom, looking for someone to chat with.

Riley adjusts his hat, checking in the mirror to make sure that it covers his horns. Like some shapeshifters, he wasn't able to be completely human or/and their other half (dragon, in Riley's case). He had horns, golden eyes, and sharp teeth in human form, while others may have less noticable qualities. He sighs and grabs his backpack, racing to the school in order to get to class on time. How he wished to turn into a dragon and fly off, preferrably back to the other kingdom to where his boyfriend was.

Azrail quietly enters the class and was immediately bombarded by Austyn's chatter. Azrail, a very sensitive creature, shrinks back and clutches his books to his chest, where he could feel his heart racing since he is frightened by the loud human. Austyn pauses after asking Azrail a question, which Azrail hadn't heard since the blood was pounding in his ears.

Zio finally makes it to class, pushing some hair out of his eyes. He spotted Will and smiled even wider. He let him rest though, walking over to Azrail and Austyn.
"Hello there. Very talkative arn't you," He teased Austyn as soon as there was silence, he was in a friendly mood, "Careful how loud you are, don't want to wake up my little demon."

Will sat up as he heard demon, swiveling his head to glare at Zio, "You can't go calling me a demon," He snapped, looking grumpy, "That's totally unfair."
He scowled as Zio stuck his tongue out, banging his desk with a hand angrily. He then went beck to napping, ears perked in case anyone else tried to call him a demon.

"Talkative? Who? Me? No way. Who are we waking up?" Austyn says, smiling cheerfully at Zio.

Riley came into class a moment later, waving a hello before taking a seat. He successfully avoided Austyn's notice until a few minutes later.
"Hello! I'm Austyn." Austyn says cheerfully.
"Goodbye." Riley says in greeting, trying to shut down the conversation before it started.
"Okay mister grumpy gills." Austyn says.
Riley doesn't answer, just stares at Austyn, wondering if he would get in too much trouble if he attacked the insolent fool facing him.

Azrail takes this opportunity to take a seat next to Will.

"My name is Zio. And you are talkative," She took a deep breathe, then talked in Austyn's voice, sounding exactly like him, "Hey! Did you see the clouds, I think they where rainbow. Do you think skittles are cheap? Hm, what's the weather like?"
She smirked, "See, you talk a lot," She said in her normal voice, sitting down next to him, "And I was talking about Will, my... at home friend."

Will seemed too tired to care about anything at this moment. It didn't help that he knew his totally secret but not secret body guard was watching him, being the son of the king sucked. He sighed, finally looking up and seeing Azrail. He didn't say anything, expecting him to act like they where totally friends now, as almost everyone did.

"Hmmmm... Well, there's always time to gain a new nickname. So now I am Talkative. Sounds good." Austyn says cheerfully. "Can you mimic anyones voice? Can you understand animals? What do you think it would be like if you could understand any language. Hahaha, probably very noisy. The plants would be fighting over territory for their roots as well as try to bring the bees and butterflies to their flowers to be pollinated. Probably very chaotic."

Azrail fiddles with the bracelets on his wrist, currently staying completely silent. Well, being mute he was sort of unable to talk and his hands were currently busy. He glances at Will, flinching slightly and quickly looking away when he notices that Will was looking at him. Azrail signs 'hi' once to Will, but realizes that most people don't know what it means and instead just waves once awkwardly.
