Akemi was asleep in his bed, snuggled deep in his blankets. He was tired after yesterdays training, wanting to stay in bed forever. He knew it was morning, sunlight pouring into his room. He kept sleeping though, ears twitching a tiny bit as he dreamed he was playing catch with his imaginary brother, Silver.

Naomi walked alone down the Halls of the Castle carrying a tray of Akemi favourite breakfast in one hand in in the other a small set of tea and she smiles softly at the castle guard's and as ahe reached Akemi's door she put the trays down and straightened her maid dress that read her knees she wore white tights and flat black shoes and she knocked on his door "your highness the Queen has requested that I'll bring it breakfast and tea" she said and then knocked again and picked up the two trays and watched aa a guard was kind enough to open the door for her she him a grateful smile and curtsied "thank you sir" she said and went inside his room the guard closed the door behind her

Akemi opened his eyes slowly, lifting his head up to see who it was. His room was huge. The walls where white and the floor a soft fluffy white carpet. Akemi slowly got up, still wearing a pair of green and white pajamas. His ears where angled towards her, three tails drooped at the moment. He let out a small yawn.
"Hello Naomi, how are you this morning," He asked quickly going into his quick closet room to change.
He came back out wearing his clothes. He sat down in a chair nearby, gesturing for her to sit at the other empty chair.

Naomi smiled at her friend she was glad the door was closed their friendship was forbidden as she was a commoner and more importantly a human and he was a prince "i am well your highness im hope you have slept well" she replied and water over and set the tray with hia breakfast down in front of him and placed the rea on his chest of draws and poured him a cup of tea and set it un front of him " the Queen has also given me your schedule for today" she said placing it down on the empty chair her blue eyes showed warmth and kindness to her dear friend

Akemi nodded, taking the tea with a grateful expression as he drank it. He put his tea down once he had finished about half it, a curious glint in his eyes.
"I slept well, thank you for asking. You can call me my name, I prefer my name to your highness. It just seems a little bland when you say it, I mean we are friends," He said with a kind smile, ears twitching happily, "So what am I doing today? I hope it's something exciting!"
He started to eat his breakfast, tails wagging a bit happily, he knew it was improper but he couldn't help it.

Naomi smiled at him his tails was so cute she just wanted to cuddle him and play with his trio of tails that was beautful just like his mother's tails. Naomi pushed a lose strand of hair behind her ear "well after i finish your breakfast and run you a bath i have to mend your tunic which you tore during your last training and attend the queens dress fitting for her new dress and some cleaning" she said softly and smiled at him and nervously sat down in the chair after she moved Akemi's schedule on his bed and gave him a smile. Naomi was nervous about sitting close to him it was inappropriate and could get her in trouble with his pearants as love between kitsune amd humans was illegal and so was a love between a royal amd a commner

"Sounds interesting," He said with a smile once he was done eating, placing down his fork, "Sounds like you have a busy day."
He didn't mind being friends with her, it was a secret he would never tell his parents. He stood up, looking at his schedule.
"I got some training, of course. Then later in the day we are having a small meeting food issues then in the evening we are having a small welcoming party," Akemi said in excitement, not realizing that to Naomi a small party was huge to her.
He walked back over to her, "I can't wait to have my bath, can you please prepare it now Naomi."

Naomi smiled at him the party would be huge to her as she has a lot of work of making a castle was prefect and sparkling clean before the party started though she wasn't invited to the party was for the royals the Royal Court and local Lords and Ladies but she hopped Akemi would tell her about it later on or the day after the party.

Naomi nodded " in that case I have a pair your bath and it will be ready for the time we finished your breakfast if you need me I'll be in your ensuite bathroom" she said and poured more tea into his half empty cup "make sure you eat it were it still fresh it's your favourite after all" she said happily and made her way to his bathroom

"Okay, sounds good, thank you. I'll eat fast then," Akemi started eating again, giving her a happy glance, "Oh, by the way, mother said you could attend the party. She said she would make an exception for you since you work so hard."
His tails swished happily as he thought about how amazing the day would be. He drank the tea, letting out a happy sigh.
"Thanks for breakfast! It's very delicious," He said continued to eat his breakfast, still very hungry.

Naomi smiled at the news "Really?! Oh ill have to thank her" she responded and hopped she could make a dress in time for the party and maybe male fake kitsune ears and tail so she wouldn't draw attention as most kitsune want Bond of humans and viewed them as lesser beings or servants. Naomi turned the taps on and grabbed the bubble bath and poured it in watching as the bubbles slowly formed around in the water it smelled lovely " go I believe she only invited me so I'll keep you out of trouble and have an another duel with that arrogant Lord Sojiro or Shiro Shimada" she said and laughed softly and stood up and grabbed a few towels and the expansive soft towels and expensive shampoo amd placed them by the bath and smiled to herself
