Welcome to an event where the winning team gets a nice tasty handful of prizes
So here is the public map:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1YPilhN2PllAJ0FNc8qDw99bs_FuucWg_9y70iXeR-ro/edit?usp=sharing
But basically, its like battleship, but we are pitting 5 vs 5 players against each other.
What will happen is, once the teams are made, I will be privately messaging each team their map, which they will tell me where they are placing their buildings, and their positions (there is a 'red team map/blue team map] version of this one)
And once all the spots are settled in, we begin the game, I will tag each person on this thread once their turn is up, while you can live check the 'main war zone map' (this public link) and see what happens, you are free to comment on the spreadsheet or in here. Spectators are allowed, but keep it classy.
The teams won't know where they positioned their other buildings.
There are other slides down there in the spreadsheet/link, one for rules, logs and color codes, just letting you know.
There are four buildings (read carefully):
-the 'guard tower' (singular blob), Destroy this, and a potential spot at random is revealed, because the guard is dead, they can't keep you from being possibly found, and this is a 100% chance of being something there, unlike generally destroying central command...there are two guard towers per team.
-the 'central command', the big fat block blobby of a building. (once this is destroyed, FOUR potential spots will be revealed, so KEEP THIS SAFE, however, doesn't guarantee to be something or someone there)
-the "Medic Room", a cross shape on map. The team's assigned 'medic' can harness this room. The medic room allows every third turn for your team (meaning third player), a player of choice, who has 'died' will be picked, respawned, and they can pick a spot to go to, and the original spot they died in will default to a 'you missed' color. HOWEVER, if the medic room is destroyed, OR the 'medic' is dead, this is null. And no, the 'medic' CANNOT respawn themselves
-Spy/Saboteur Outpost (two block spaced building), destroy this and immediately find/reveal the saboteur , what this means, the spy is instantly dead, if they get respawned, they get respawned as a normal player.
----------------
Roles:
-Spy/Saboteur: They can only use their ability twice, so for their choice of complete rounds (when everyone for their team goes), they can either pick a "building block" or a "player location" to destroy. No, they don't get to see the actual map for the enemy, but they can private message me and I will have to give them a definite location on.
-Medic: Can respawn a dead player every third turn for your team, if they die, welp, nobody is respawning then.
-Player:: They play by picking spots, cannot pick a spot that has been picked already.
---------------
Item/Treasure/Weapon Nodes:
"The [WEAPON NODES] are shared by your team, and can decide as a team where and how its used"
-There are three weapon nodes, its usually a weapon used to throw off the enemy team.
a) Scatter Missile: When launched, it hits five areas, not across from each other or touching (your team picks)
b): Bomb: Hits in a cross shaped area.
c) Following missile: It will hit a one PLAYER spot in either the ROW or COLUMN of choice
"The [ITEM NODES] are NOT shared by your team, you can decide how it is used, but you can chit chat about it together"
-There are three item nodes, its a item you can add to your inventory.
a) "Shield": Will protect against a fatal attack, can activate it on yourself or for a friend in the team, it was stay active until they get hit. The hit person gets to move to a different spot of choice.. The enemy team only knows a shield been activated, but not who used it.
b) "Shuffle": If they use it, EVERYONE who is still alive gets to move to different coordinates.
c) "The Sacrifice": If you use it (medic cannot use it...neither can the spy, but uh, good luck), if someone from the enemy hits you, they die too, so you both are gone (unless the medic respawns you)
"The [TREASURE NODES] are shared by your team, and can can be collected end of game"
-There are two treasure nodes, its a item you can add to your inventory.
a) [Handful of Gold Node]: Your team gets 5,000 in gold regardless if you win or not, this gets collected after the game is done, for the winning team, it basically adds onto the winning prize.
b) [PB Offspring]: Your team all gets to pick a PB pairing for an offspring, regardless if you win or not, this gets collected after game is done, for the winning team, it basically adds onto the winning prize.
THE [MINES] you guys get to pick where you're placing it on your map, for the enemy to step on, if they pick it, they die.
How do 'rounds work":
Example: Player A goes, the other team's Player A goes, thats one round, then Player B goes, and other team's Player B goes, thats another round...bear in mind as you get 'killed', the list gets shorter and shorter.
Dead players can be ghostly placeholders, they can't pick but they can do some random action as a response (lol)
But yeah, there are, logs that will appear in another spreadsheet tab in said spreadsheet, they will all be updated as well as on here as well, so you'll all get a rough summary of it. (will ping/tag you all here as well)
