So.. when A pet is generated, It goes to the stables and looks like an adult. I understand that. But Since it's in the stables, and looks aged, how come you can't breed it? I had generated two nixis a few days ago, and wanted to breed them. But it said they're not old enough. Could someone please explain this to me?

Generated pets start as adolescents, but they'll become adults in 18 days. You can also speed up the aging process with magical pies, which are fairly cheap from the diamond shop
