The SeaWing shuddered. He didn't mean to scare Dust. What could he do to calm her down? He might just upset her more! The confusion swirled around in his mind, turning into stress. It took him some time before he had an idea. Atoll made a motion that meant he had to tell her something.

Blackbird
Blackbird chuckled smiling back, this was much better than mumbling to himself about how to leave. "Do you mind if I help you find it?", He asked. At this point, he thought he knew everything about this place, the pattern of its shifting had become familiar to him- so hopefully those skills would help Pyre find what he was looking for.

Dust
Dust patted Atoll's claws, trying to let him know she was alright. His reaction just spooked her, nothing to worry about- hopefully. She took another set of deep breaths, trying to calm herself down before she made things worse. She sat there with her eyes closed for a moment, opening them when she heard Atoll signing. Her ears pricked, interested, and leaning in.

(I'm sorry but, did they both just have a anxiety attack at the same time?)

"Yep!"
Meanwhile, Starhunter chuckled to herself. She was the one who had taken one of Pyre's iron footpads and hid it somewhere she knew that he would never find it. Yes, she was one little demoness.

Atoll calmed down slightly. He tried to tone his voice down to a whisper. That was hard since he couldn't actually hear what he was saying. How would Dust react? Would she be scared? It was hard to Atoll to decide. As he veered closer and closer to keeping it secret, a sudden jump veered the other way. The SeaWing made a motion that meant 'please keep this secret'.

"D-Dust.. I didn't tell you this b-before.. I'm an a-animus."

"Alright, do you mind telling me what is is?", He asked, tipping his head to the side. He glanced up at Starhunter and shook her head. He guessed that that missing object had something to do with the Nightwing, but he gave up on caring a long while ago, they'll find it- hopefully.

Dust
Leaned back when Atoll leaned in, surprised, but not mad- just happy he wanted to tell her something- he trusted her enough to speak to her- But it had been a long long time since she heard his voice, and she smiled a bit. And she wasn't one bit scared in the least, just happy that he trusted her enough to tell her about this. Dust pulled on a big, warm smile. I'm glad you told me this, I'm proud that you trusted me enough to tell me this. She motioned, trying to turn serious, but she couldn't help but smile still.

He was surprised, to say the least. Dust seemed fine with it, but he expected a more scared reaction. Knowing that, Atoll thought it was good that way. His thoughts suddenly cut to something new. How did he get his animus? Where was his family? So many questions were lured in like sharks circling helpless prey.

"It was one of my footpad thingies."
Starhunter sighed at the fiery Skywing.
