General Information
The Ferrikki were first discovered when travelers began exploring their realm, the Lost Grove, after a portal opened inside of Astryl's Vale and created an open doorway between realms. While they seem to be able to survive in our environment, they are almost exclusively found within the Lost Grove. They seem to be indifferent to various types of weather and seem to be equally active both during the day and during the night.

Behavior
Ferrikki are very playful, loving, and intelligent creatures. Much of their day is spent socializing with those in their own social groups, or even with other wild Sylesties that they now encounter. The rest of their day is spent foraging vegetation for various fruits and vegetables. While they are gentle and curious towards friendly strangers, they will not hesitate to group up and defend themselves against active threats.

Physical Features
Ferrikki are majestic looking creatures with a combination of fluffy fur and beautiful feathers. While their fur can have all sorts of extravagant patterns, their feathers can also display various patterns as well. There are also some noticeable differences between males and females, such as males having horns while females have longer and more elegant feathers.

Perhaps the most identifiable feature of Ferrikki is the magical orbs that can be found nestled within their tails. These orbs begin to form through magical energies shortly after a Ferrikki hatches from its egg. Each Ferrikki's magical orb is unique to them and is tethered to them. No Ferrikki have yet to be discovered without a magical orb; leading researchers to believe that they cannot survive without one. Their orbs are seen to contain various magical symbols and runes from within perhaps honing their abilities or perhaps indicating what they are most fond of.
