So I recently realized that my Gold Earned in my profile and my actual gold on hand are not adding up. The Gold Earned metric is being updated in real time, as I opened mission satchels and also sold armor from my inventory. Both of these transactions were tracked.
My theory for the large discrepancy is income from the trade broker, as I have recently sold a lot of things in a short amount of time, and this ratio issue is a recent development.
It would also help explain how my ratio of gold earned:gold on hand was always pretty good despite having purchased many stable tabs.
My apologies if this has been reported on before, or if the feature is working as intended. I just noticed it and had not heard anything about it before. It is obviously far from a pressing issue. Thank you for reading this anyway.

Interesting - I just checked mine and I think I'm missing 100M from my gold earned. I know I've earned more than 51M...either that or I'm crazy. (wouldn't be surprised lol.)

By the by, I just collected ~300k (minus the fee) from the Trade broker. My Gold Earned prior to accepting the transaction: 188,269,625. My Gold Earned after the transaction: 188,269,625. No change.
EDIT- Alright, I've had some time to think about it, and it makes sense to not track gold earned from player-to-player transactions. People could artificially inflate their Gold Earned (that would have been game-breaking back when leaderboards existed). It's more about how much money you drew from the ether that is the game itself rather than from between players. And that's fine.
My Gold Earned:Gold On-hand ratio is just going to be an entertaining little tidbit to me.

Yea, that's my recollection of it. Gold Earned only tracks gold received directly from the site. No player transactions (pet sales, broker, trades) are counted.

Pretty much all of those statistics are horribly inaccurate at this point. =\ They were put into the game before Day 1 in very very very terrible ways and as we have added more content and revamped older content, they no longer sync up and so certain things will be inaccurate or just not tracked any longer.
They were good in theory, but were way too difficult to keep 100% accurate with how everything was originally coded.

Which is super fair. I just had a "wait a tic" moment.
Battle record seems fine, though! -thumbs up-

Yea. That one and the Mission records should be accurate as they are pretty isolated.
Nurturing probably is also accurate.
But items earned, enemies defeated, and gold are probably not at all accurate. I do believe Gold is largely tracked when it's earned from the Site, however, it does not at all take into consideration player to player trading. And it's also possible earning Gold from other, more rare, sources are also not tracked - I'm not entirely sure.

It's fine as a measure of how much gold one's generated versus how much has passed through their (my) grubby (hoarding) fingers.
(And as someone who always strove to keep those numbers as close as possible, it's actually something of a relief.)
Well, those statistics have held up pretty well for originating with launch, so at least there's that!
