Intro :

It was a quiet morning at the emperor's castle, the birds outside had started their songs since the first ray of sunlight soon followed by the servants who were currently tending to their assigned tasks. Unbeknownst to the habitants of said castle, the wind of change had started to blow softly on the lands.

Two female conubine walked alone though the emperor's beautful gardens(ignore house) the youngest of the pair was called cassandra and she was youngest and newest conubine and currently the emperor's favorite due to their shared interests of music and jappanses art. Cassandra looked at the older conubine "im am so glad we could spnd time together Brittney" she sais in a soft British accident and making Brittney look at her "yes" she repiled pretending to be cassandra friend when in reality Brittney was using her

As it was often the case in the morning, Oliver was sitting near a tree in the royal garden a book in hand. During the day, the never ending flow of walkers were taking their strolls chattering about were ruining the quietness of the place so he had took the habit to come early in the morning. It also allowed him to befriend some of the local birds and train them to retrive small objects and jewelry left unatended. Glancing away from his book he observed the two womans with slight curiousity, he had heard of the new adition to the emperor's collection but hadn't realy had the time to interact with her yet.

The emperor had seven conubines including Cassandra his current favorite and newest and youngest member most if the conubines ranged from the ages of twenty seven and forty two years old though previously he had thirteenth conubines but the life of a conubine was dangerous if you wasnt killed by another conubine due to jealously you could be killed for political reasons.

Cassandra smiled at brittney as they gossiped aboit the pther conubines and Birttney told cassandra she hopped to bare the emperor another heir the emperor had seven sons and five daughers by the remaining conubines (except cassandra) and a son by the empress. Brittney informed casandra she had to leave for her music lessons and cassandra qatched as birttney left with her servant leaving the young cassandra alone in the gardens she was blissfully I'm aware she was being watched "i wonder if ill bear him a child one day" she mumbled

The moment where the older of the two left was the moment where he decided to start his long time game. He stand up and calmly came closer. "Beautifull start of the day isn't it ? We didn't had time to truely meet yet so i though it would be a nice time to introduce myself proprely to the new adition to the royal familly, even if you may have heard about me already."

While he was acting as if he hadn't heard her words, he clearly had, but he was keeping that information in mind for later. The not so secret war between the concubines was somthing he was following on after all, not too closely but enough to have a rough idea, it was somwhat intertaining for his bored mind to see those girls bickker and fight, they were all the same to him; vapid with a mind as deep as a puddle on a smooth tile.

Cassandra bent down and plucked a beautful large red rose from the rose bush in the gardens when she heard a male's voice she didn't recognise and was a little nervous it was forbidden for a conubine to be seen talking woth other males that wasnt her husband. Cassandra turned around and looked at the raven haird male "Oh hello" she said and smiled at him "i apologise but i don't belive we havr meet, im cassandra the emperor's conubine" she said and pushed a strand of hair behind her ear

A small blue chow chow puppy came bounding over running through the wild flowers and stopprd at cassandra's feet around the dogs neck was a collar woth the name daiyu on it. Daiyu yawned and looked at oliver and sniffed his feet than sat down and started to lick her paws it seemed daiyu the chow chow belonged to Cassandra

Giving her a gentil smile he bow slightly at her. "Ah, yes, the new favorite, glad to see that you are adapting so quickly to the life here. I am Lord Oliver Pernent, i make office of advisor to the emperor from time to time, at his request." He kept himself still far enough of Cassandra that there was a respectfull distance between the two.

He glance at the oddly colored pup at his feets and shuckle softly at the cute display. " A small part of the sky came down to live by your side, nice color choice on the little one. I have a few friends of other speacies of my own but not alot that would agree to land without a bribe."
