1. So I noticed this recently (like Wednesday I think) but pages on my google chromebook take an exceptionally long time to load - like 3 seconds to load the entire page. It happened after an extension (non-Sylestia related) was loaded on, but I don't know if that's a coincidence - and I can't remove it. T.T
Here's a picture of the above issue. My avatar loaded fine, but the helds took a few seconds to pop in.
2. Also an older issue I've been having - sometimes (generally after I'm playing around in the Wardrobe for a bit) the page will freeze. I'll try to alter a hex or put on/take off an item and it won't respond. I'll reload the page and the website won't load. To clarify, this issue has been happening for... a while.
(I feel like I posted issue no. 2 before but idk)

It's hard to say without knowing what the extension is, what it does, and how the site behaves with the extension disabled.
I'm not familiar with chromebooks so I am not sure if there's a way for you to load an alternative browser without any extensions enabled to see how the site behaves.
The second issue sounds like the connection is getting hung up. So you submit a request to the server that doesn't get a respond (the page freezing) and then reloading doesn't load because your connection is still in limbo from the initial attempt. It probably remains this way until it times out (after 3 minutes I think)? And then things go back to normal?

For the second issue, that is absolutely what happens.
The extension is some sort of forticlient web filter thing, and I noticed the first issue right after it was loaded. Unfortunately the school administration doesn't allow for the manual loading-offloading of extensions and apps so I guess I have to deal with it lol.
Thank you!

Are both of these issues happening on a school network? It's very possible that is the reason if so.
I would imagine a site like Sylestia is exactly the type of site a school would be trying to block lol.

Haha no. It's on my home wifi, which sometimes behaves strangely because of encryption or something. (I'm not a tech person lol) I know from experience it is blocked on school networks, though!

Unfortunately, I'm just not sure there's much I can do given the information. =\
Without being able to isolate third party addons, especially ones intended to filter web pages, there's really nothing I can really begin to investigate as that would have to be the first thing ruled out. And obviously, there is nothing that I can do assuming it is the culprit.
As for the connection issues, it very likely could be something similar. Since I haven't seen any other recent reports of such connection issues, I would assume it's something local to your device/browser, which makes it virtually impossible for me to diagnose.
I'm sorry. =\

That's okay. I fiddled around with my wifi connection and that seemed to work! :D
Thanks for looking into this, though!
