I would like to know how some of you veterans build your pets. Where and how much do you put your level up and proficiency points. What makes a good tank, dps, healer, etc.

Thanks in advance.

Personally, I like having someone with fire on my team, who stays in the back. My primary has high health and strength with medium stats in dexterity and agility and low in intelligence. I messed up with him a little in that I started him on wood instead of ice, so I may reset his proficiencies to move him into the ice branch. My third party member has darkness, health, and a bit of agility. (This is just my party; I've heard others say that they like having a light member in the back to help increase health, but so far, I haven't found light that helpful because the health increase is so miniscule).

For proficiencies, I've been building either strength or intelligence, mostly, then rounding out the rest with the level up points.

First, this is just my opinion and I've been playing with lower levels than you, so it may be a completely different kettle of fish. I also tend to play my team very offensively.

Now that that's out of the way:
Since the proficiency tends to have such a large effect on the stats as you stack it, I like to put my proficiencies in offense. In your case, that would be strength rather than health. Since this is a tank, I would probably do 7 or 8 to strength and the rest to health. I wouldn't give 60 to dexterity- my team has the main crits from the back, I would probably leave this around 20. I would also take 40 of your agility point and divide them between health and strength.

For me, this guy has been doing a very good job as my tank

That being said, when I first built him, I wasn't really sure how to build a tank, so it was more serendipituous than premeditated.
He has 31 53 42 12 42 for level ups (if I was building him again, I would divide the 42 intelligence between strength agility with a little towards health)
His proficiency is 4 for health and 5 for strength. The next proficiency he gets will be added to strength.

He's paired with this gentleman

who has 29 0 90 0 45, 7 intelligence and one dexterity in fire

and this lovely lady
http://www.sylestia.com/view/pets/?petid=18463
who has 35 0 100 0 41, 6 in intelligence and 2 in agility

I still go through a ton of elixirs when fighting a boss or zombie army, but I almost never have to use one fighting the regulars.

Hope this helps!
