I have been target nurturing a species over Advanced Search for the current contest boards. This error shows up quite frequently (I'd say around 1 in 5) at my top speed, as I've been trying to nurture from individual pet pages as quickly as possible.



Underneath the error message is the standard rewards box, which tells me I've found a scale. I assumed this meant my nurture attempt was counted, but it is not. Each time this occurs, I have to reload the page and try again.

Now, I'm not sure it's exactly a bug since I can avoid it by nurturing slower (much, much slower, which reeeally isn't ideal during contests), but the speed of my nurturing had never been a problem in the past. And the last time I'd participated in a nurture contest was roughly two years ago - under the old system. I suspect it has something to do with the new nurturing system. Everything goes perfectly smoothly in the Nurture Grounds; going from individual pages is an issue.

In addition, the rewards box occasionally fails to show up on one pet's page, and the rewards box on another pet's page shows Scale x2. (I've forgotten to screenshot this, but I'll try to if needed.)

I went ahead and removed the submission fail safe. It's added to a lot of user submitted forms in order to prevent unintended consequences - such as posting multiple replies on the forums, or maybe making the same shop purchase multiple times, etc. So basically, when the site goes to parse a submission, it puts a lockout with a minimum time before it will attempt to read an additional submission.

For Nurturing, this shouldn't really have much of an effect as repeated submissions should just result in an error since a pet can't be nurtured twice.

As for the rewards pop up window, it's saved as a session variable until it's printed. So if you're spamming multiple submissions all at once, it most definitely can display in bundles depending on which page ends up loading first and clearing the session variable.

Bit late, but this is good to know, I haven't been nurturing for contests since I kept getting caught by the speed thing, so will have to try it now.
